HI Im a 14 year old girl and i told a guy I liked him right before graduation. we aren't very good friends but a friend of mine told me "he didnt want to ruin the friendship" and im pretty sure that is just an easy term for the words "i don't like you" but then at the dance two days after my friend told me the news he wouldn't stop convienently running into me and kept walking up to me like he wanted to dance but then would just say something sweet and walk away then he asked me to dance and kissed my hand. Was he just being sweet? Do I have a chance with this guy in high school? Is there a chance that he is thinking about me? And if so in a good way? (link)

Yes there is a pretty good chance that that he is thinking about you, if he continues acting this way then he might be interested in you. Just keep an eye open on how he acts around you, flirting etc. Or you could be bold and straight out ask him of what he thinks of you. All depends on what you want to do.

Thanks so much for your advice....I talked to him lastnight and he said he was joking right...but then he started saying i was fat and ugly and that again and i asked him to stop so he hung up on me and won't talk to me now....i think i should just brake up with him...i mean i can find someone better than him i have another guy that treats me with respect better than him but how can i gently break up with him and stay friends and let him know i still love him??
P.S.-You should come down to VA Beach again lol its a nice little vacation haha! VERY relaxing to me!

Well you can't exactly control the relationship after the break up, it also depends on what his reaction is to it. But the next time you talk to him you should just easily break it to him. You could say that you've been having some problems with the relationship that is bothering you and that you think it would be best to break up. Ya know, nuthn harsh that will scar him for life, and it's not the "let's just be friends" line. He might take it hard, he might not, that could affect how your friendship will be after the relationship. Letting him know that you still love/care about him can be easily be done when ever you feel like it. Whether it be right when you break up with him or when things are a bit more calm between you two. I would prolly wait til a bit after and say something like "Even though we're just friends, I still love you and (insert anything else that would go well with this)" lol. I'm glad that you know other guys out there that will treat you well. Hopefully you'll find a suitable b/f.
Yea I'd love to go back down to the beach, but it's a bit of a distance here in Northern Va =)

Heh you can be in love at 15, I was. 5'3 and 109lbs is not fat, so he must be out of his mind or something. If he won't ever talk about any of this with you, you kinda gotta make him at least listen to you. I hope he does listen and stop joking with you if he is. I find that to be a pretty cruddy joke =/. You want breaking up to be the last option of course. So try to work things out with him, if you've tried your best and he won't change, then you might have to take breaking up into consideration. As long as you're happy, ya know. Good luck w/ him =)

my boyfriend just came back from mississippi and we always talked online and he always told me how much he missed me and how much he wanted to see me. we was always saying how much he wanted to see me and he is always saying he loved me and he would never treat me bad and he treats me like SHIZ NIT! my friends tell me to break up with him but i love him too much and i dont know if i should break up with him or not. I mean he hurts me by not answering my phone calls and ignoring me and always ditching me for his friends. I was so mad when i called him and he got home an hour before and he was already with his friends. sometime i think he for gets he has a girlfriend that he soposably cares about. I need advice!

Wow, you shouldn't have to take any of that. So you love him, but he treats you like sh!t. Are you happy he treats you like that? I highly doubt that. Why should you stay with him if you aren't happy *shrugs*? Some people you just gotta get over. He wouldn't treat you like that if he really cared. There are much better guys out there for you that will treat you the way you should be treated. Unless you can work things out with him, you should leave him.

Well you should keep on trying to talk to him about this. I can understand why he would be mad at something like this, if not mad, it just REALLY bothers him. I been through stuff like that before. Ya know, minor stuff that doesn't really mean anything, but it makes me mad anyways. He shouldn't stay mad for a that long, maybe you should stop by his place if calling him doesn't work. If he loves you he'd at least hear your side of the story. This might take some time, don't try and stress over it too much sweetie. I hope everything works out with him, good luck.

Dear reader,
About a year ago I met the man of my dreams (guy #1) and we love each other dearly, but he lives in Central America and I live in California. The thing is that three months ago I met a wonderful guy (guy #2) that really loves me a lot. And I’m going on a trip to Central America where the other guy (guy #1) is and he’s expecting me to see him. My recent boyfriend (guy #2) has a really bad temper and the other guy (guy #2) is miles away and I love the guy #1 more that than the guy #2 but I know it won’t work out. The question is should I see the other guy and maybe be something again at least for a short while or should I stay with guy (guy#2) and try to deal with his hot temper?

Yes tell him how you feel, anything could happen. Those are pretty good signs that he likes you, unless he were to do that to every other girl out there(doubt that). So yea, nuthn to worry about, just call him up or whatever you feel is appropriate and tell him that you're interested.

Well it all depends on the person really and how old they are. Cause some people that are 50 and 43 are married, 7 years difference. For that age it's ok, but 7 years difference for teens ain't right, heh. 20 year old dating a 13 year old doesn't sound all that great.

Well if you really like him and you have a problem with his drinking you should talk it over. Whether or not to move on is your decision, I guess this is kinda based on personal morals. It might be tough to move on, but if you've tried and it bothers you that much, you might have to. If he likes you back then he would at least try to lower the alcohol intake. No need to be nervous or anything, just have a talk so that he understands how you feel about it, and maybe things will work out.

I met this guy, he is soo sweet and hot and he treats me like a princess and we JUST met! I saw a picture of him and assumed he was about 16 or 17 and when we talked on the phone, he completely sounded like it too! Love doesn't care about age, nuthn but a number. I went out with a girl who is older than me and there wasn't any problem with that. If we continued to go out, she would've been 2 years older than me for the month of August. You shouldn't let anything like that stand in your way if you think he's the right one.
