Don't show off or anything just be yourself (not the self that hates talking to boys but you know what I mean) Yeah if you talk to him face to face he might like you. It seems kind of akward but usually it will work. Just tell him that you like him face to face and don't tell one of your friends to do it. Try and conquer your fear of talking to boys and just go do it. If he says he doesnt like you, it might be akward to see him after that but just think to yourself you tried and thats all I can do. You can't really tell off of anything. You wouldn't wan't to try because if you were wrong and you spread a rumor that she liked you she could... well yeah... You should just go confront her and then ask her out. I don't think you are shy and if you think she likes you you should go tell her that you like her or ask her out. I hope this advice helps. Hmmmm... This is a hard one, but just ask your friend what he would think of someone more than a year older than his sister to go out with her. What I think might happen is that if you don't ask him before then he will be in disbelieve and then accept it later on. Even though hes protective, you are his friend and he trusts you so he will learn to live with it. If you ask him before, then he will feel more trust because you asked him first to see if that is okay. I think that either way would be a win situation so just go ahead and pick one. Confront him. Ask him why he doesn't talk to you. Ask if you can be friends. Tell him you really want to be and that you feel hurt the you aren't yet. As time passes and you become better friends, ask him if he likes you and tell him your affection to him. If he isn't stuck up and isn't self-centered, he'll probably be nice to you. All boys like it when they hear a girl like them. And if you tell them face to face it makes the chance that he would like you better. Hope this works out for you. Good luck!

Well this has happend to me before even though I was on the completly other end of where you are. Yes, start out with just a normal convosation and then after maybe 3 minutes of talking and stuff just ask why he hasn't talked to you for a while. Then if he explains to you in a positive answer then tell him you still kind of like him. Trust me, I'm a guy. You were never together and so that doesn't mean if you started to go out you wouldn't be hooking up again. If he used to kinda like yo then there is almost no chance that he wouldn't ask you out right there. Hope this helped. Good Luck!

okay here goes..
im 13 and a girl. i really like almost in love with this one guy at my school. last year i had every single class with him, it was like heaven. this year i have no classes with him, at all. the only time i get to see him is at nutrition and lunch, if hes in the same place i am. last year i could kind of tell he liked me but this year its hard to tell. if i pay a lot of attention to him, he becomes interested, ill try to move where he is and stare at him in a very "im into you" kind of way. but sometimes its kinda of hard to tell. i really dont feel comfortable confronting him face to face, and i havent even told my friends that i like him. how can i tell if he likes me??? Hmm... Well yes just like falconsfire said you could get another guy friend to do some under cover work. Trust me, boys don't care if other girls or other guys tell them that a girl likes them unlike how girls hate it if someone else asks them out for them. Yeah, if you tell him you like him yourself you might e embarrased, but stand strong. Act like even if he says no it'll be alright. Besides, if he does say yes, then you'll be wondering why you didn't ask before. Just go ahead and tell him you like him face to face. I am 13 year old boy in the 7th grade and I met this incredible girl over the summer. I had asked her out, but she wasn't allowed to date, yet I got her phone number. I still wasn't sure if she liked me as I liked her. Because as school came around I felt closer to her.I asked her out again during school, yet she still couldn't date!!!!!!! Dude, I was the same way. I had asked a girl out a while ago and she said her parents wouldn't let her date. We have 7th hour together (Vocal Music) and we sit by each other. Actually I wrote a song for her and whatever. I asked her out 2 days ago at a cast party for this school play I'm in. You have to ask her out to a party or something. The girl I asked out said Probably yes and she hasnt told me an official answer yet. Yeah, or you could do something else. Just give it time and make sure she doesn't know you like her until maybe Valentine's Day. Get her a box of chocalates then and ask her out to a movie. Also, DO NOT give her a poem if you are unsure she will like it or if it has something your not sure about in it. Don't show off either. Girls HATE it when people show off.
