i would tell you, but good and free generally dont go in the same sentence when it comes to sheet music. your best bet is to just buy it, find somebody that knows how to play it, or just learn it by ear.

I am wondering what some good mood songs are? I'm not a real artsy, deep and into the moment kind of person, but when I'm calm or sad I like listening to soft music. Different languages are good too. What are some perferable and relaxing songs (like Dido and Enya etc.)?

the only thing i could think of is the karaoke thing. if you move a song to an audio program, its not in different layers so you cant just seperate it from the rest of the music.

Im in a rock band with some friends and where working on a new song, we have all the music written but cant think of lyrics. i know guitar strings all depend on the person, but what is the best type of string for a begginer on an electric guitar?(light,regular,ect.) (link)

start out with light strings, which are either .09 guage or .10 guage. the guage is varied by the high e string, and i believe its measured in mm. anything above .10 would probably be to heavy for a beginner.
honestly, ive been playing for 4 years, and on my electric, i still use .10, just because i likee feel, and it makes bends and such easier. however, on my acoustic, i use .12 because since it is heavier, it has a much better tone, but its more difficult to play

Any tips for novice drummers (good books)? I have a basic 5-piece set but no china cymbal, I think it's called. Is that normal? Also, would a wire brush be important? Thanks much in advance! (link)

do you have a crashride cymbal, or a crash cymbal and a ride cymbal? that should be your first up grade
not having china is normal
wire brushes are nice for acoustic sets and stuff, but you wont really need them since youre a beginner, theyre cheap when you need them though, maybe 20 bucks

I'm planning to play in my school's idol competition but we can't find a bassist. I was wondering if a keyboard can replace a bass. Also, is there any site where I can fine bass NOTES??? Not tabs or chords, I'd prefer notes since you can't really do tabs on a keyboard.

yes you can replace bass with a keyboard.
as for the notes, i cant tell you a site, but the lowest C on bass is 1 octave below middle C, so it shouldnt be too hard.
if that sounds weird, just play an octave below the guitar player and itll be normal.

just get a super cheap one at wal mart or something, theyre actually decent quality for such a cheap price
i dont know about books, but if you decide to stick with it just go to a local music shop and they should be able to help you out more

if you have WMP or Limewire, you have to transfer your songs to iTunes to put them on the ipod
so yes, you need to use it, but you dont need to download your songs all over again
