I'm planning to play in my school's idol competition but we can't find a bassist. I was wondering if a keyboard can replace a bass. Also, is there any site where I can fine bass NOTES??? Not tabs or chords, I'd prefer notes since you can't really do tabs on a keyboard.

It won't sound exactly like a bass, but you could use a keyboard to make a simulated "bass sound". If you don't have that option, it is feasible to replace it with just a normal piano sound, but it would sound about an octave too high. [ dwarp's advice column | Ask dwarp A Question ]

I don't know how you'd use bass notes on a keyboard, I think you'd just use piano notes or something, not really sure, try Googling it and see what comes up. :) [ fish34's advice column | Ask fish34 A Question ]
