I guess the only advice I can give is: Be nice to everyone, but don't let anyone push you around. Make sure people know that you aren't going to just sit there and listen to them make fun of you and such. Say something back, just don't be too harsh unless it's something you have to do. Most times, as long as you are nice to people, they won't make fun of you or be mean to you. Just make sure you choose the right friends .. the friends that will stick up for you in case those kind've things happen. Lastly, be outgoing, try to talk to everyone .. just strike up a conversation. Chances are .. the most outgoing people in the class are going to strike up conversations with you and ask you where you're from and why you moved .. just keep the conversation moving and talk to them the next day. You really need to talk to him and tell him how you feel and ask him about that girl and tell him that you are single and everything else that is going on in your life. Maybe if he calls your phone so much, you should make a voice mail that says, Ivan please stop calling, I'm sorry I don't like you like that your just a friend and this is getting out of hand. And then after he calls change your voicemail back to normal. Or you can just tell him or tell a friend and get them to tell him. That is very crazy and that happened to me also about a month ago. I felt like he was stalking me too, so I blocked his sn and I stopped answering his calls and when he did call and I answered I told him I had to go and he got annoyed with it I guess and quit doing that and now he doesn't ever call me anymore. -Kayla

Well, he did say he likes you and he sure does show you all the signs so that is one problem that is already taken care of. Now with you liking him, maybe you should try hanging out with him outside of school, this way it lets you get to know eachother better and find out if you do or do not have feelings for him. Haha, I think you should definitely find out some how whether or not that second guy likes you and if he is as hot and sexy as you say he is, then go for him. It doesn't matter what your friends think and chances are they are thinking the same thing they just don't want to say it for the same reasons as you. Just hang out with that second guy a bunch and see where it goes. Ask him to the movies or the mall or your house or out to eat or something like that and get one of your friends if you don't want to ask him yourself if he likes you or not. Also, if that first guy likes you and he's a jerk, but you've got this second guy, then go for the second guy! He seems better, jerks are no fun to date! -Kayla

What the heck is your friend thinking? That isn't cool at all and you need to tell her that. Say listen man, we just broke up and if your gonna have anything to do with him, then don't tell me about it, I don't care and I don't want to hear it. Tell her that she isn't a true friend for doing this to you and not even caring that he was being a jerk to you. Sweetie, this isn't fair to you at all and I know that, the same thing happened to me, but my friend got the picture that I was mad at her and she told the guy that they had to break off whatever they had going because she'd rather be my friend then fight over a guy. I know that might not have been the right thing, but they are talking again and I'm totally over it. erm...ok, I'm 13/f/ca, and next year I'm going to be a freshman in Highschool, I'm wanting for hopfully some...encouraging words. Well, it all depends on your school. My brother told me it would happen to me and he was a senior when I was a freshmen. Funny thing is nothing bad happened to me my freshmen year, it was the best year ever. The only thing I can think of that they did to freshmens was at our pep rallys when they made fun of us and boo'd us a whole bunch. Just like when your an 8th grader and you pick on the 6th graders. Although, if your school always for senior pranks on the freshmen then watch out. Just ask some freshmen at the high school your going to. Most likely though, it won't happen. Tell your friend that you like S. also. See what she says and DON'T quit liking him just because she does. They aren't "talking" or dating so there is nothing she can do. It is just like the crush she has. Keep hanging out with him and in one of your e-mails tell him you like him but explain the deal of your friend liking him also. hey theres this one guy i went out with and we were really close...we said i love you and all that stuff, then one day he heard alot of rumors around the school about me and they werent true,but he didnt believe me cuz he said that over 10 people said all this stuff.So he broke up with me,but a couple of days later we were talking on the phone and he said he would go out with me again but hes afraid of breaking my heart again..and i said "its ok....im getting used to it" but i didnt think before saying it. Then he said "why because of me" and i said yes....then he said he doesnt feel like talking....and he got all mad and hung up. After that we were talking on aim and we got in a big fight over that thing i said and he said he just wont talk or look at me anymore....And at school yesterday he wouldnt even look at me...but everybody i tell that too says i can get better, or u dont deserve him, but they dont kno how much i like him.When we were in that fight on aim he said that he was going to ask me if we can try it again, but i said that so now hes not going to ask me...and i just want to tell him how i really feel, but im afraid i'll say something else to make him mad.... Ok, here's my opinion, since you asked. I think you should go ahead and tell him since you aren't afraid to and it will get a load off your shoulders. Plus, he's already mad at you, so if it does make him mad (which it shouldn't), then it doesn't really make a difference right? Just go ahead and tell him and make him feel loved. Maybe, tell him you want to talk face to face and say that you really like him and you really want to go back out with him and you didn't mean what you said and make him happy. but theres this kid in my spanish class hes a sophmore and im a freshman. and ever since school started he always checked me out and stuff, and he'd stare at me all the time. every time he'd pass me he'd flick his hair at me. well i just thought that it didnt mean anything, until these past few days in the halls he'd point me out to all of his friends, and they'd be like "oh thats the girl who you like?" No way! There's no reason for him to be embarrased that your a freshmen and he's a sophomore. Personally, I think that next time he looks at you or points at you then just say hey. Then maybe he will say hey back which im sure he will and yall will strike up a conversation. Then ask him if he's heard about the homecoming dance and ask him if he's going. Ok well so far in school im failing ALL my classes except 1. Im in 10th grade and I just switched school. You have to turn in a PERFECT PAPER. And if you get 1 thing wrong you have a F. And if you miss 3 things you get a F. Its hard. So I feel like im going to fail this year. I miss school on the days I have tests on accident. Like i know im going to have tests but I get sick. I like taking tests because it keeps my grade up. And my friends arnt helpng they keep saying Im going to fail. Like im missing 14 assignments in math. So of course I have a F! I just cant handle all of this stuff. Its too hard and It gets me thinking of how I passed 9th grade at my old school. What should I do? How can I keep up my grades and do all my work? (link)

Well, make sure you get ALL the work you have to make up and actually make it up and turn it in. Then, make sure you make up ALL your tests and STUDY for them! Like until you know that everything that you studied for is in your brain lol. Afterwards make up your grade it shouldn't be too hard! Good luck and I hope i helped! -Kayla

My sister and I used to go to the same middle school. She's only a year older then me.
