sorry this is late but i havent been on for awhile,
why did your best friend go out with this boy 5 times if she already has a boyfriend? it sounds to me like she either really likes him is just tired of her boyfriend. As for the boy that likes her and i think you said you like aswell, he probaly will like her when she breaks up w/ her boy friend. I dont know how old you are, but if your in atleast 7th grade, this relationship is destin to fail. First off, if they went out 5 times then they are probaly just going to start up w/ the phisical part of the relationship but once thats done itll be over. This is not a healthy relationship, they shouldnt have started while your friend had a boyfriend because thats just cheating. Her old boyfrind will probaly be very jealous or angry and i cant think of a good way for this to turn out. So, to answer your question, no he wont be over her right away, but once the physical stuff is over they will most likely become sick of each other and call it quits. Then you will have ur chance :)

Just tell them that this is 2006 not 1950. It's not like you were having sex with him in the middle of the dance floor. You didn't do anything that a straight person wouldn't do with their date. I don't know were your from (gay stero types is more common in the south) but people need to face the facts. over 11% of the population is gay. Good Luck. Hope I helped:)
