I'm not 100% positive, but if I was to take a guess, I would say that since a moth is usually attracted to a flame (or light) that if you are attracted to someone, you are the moth and they are the flame, or vice versa.

OK so im 16 and i FINALLY convinced my parents to let me get my navel pierced. im going to europe this summer and my question was whether it would heal enough by around the last week of june if i get it done in April. another thing also, does it hurt!?? a lot of ppl say it doesnt but im hesitant. also while its healing can you go to the beach with it and go in the water? thnx :]
It will be healed enough to not look like it was just pierced and raw, but you aren't technically supposed to change the ring until at least 6 months after having it.
I changed mine after one month though. If you clean the piercing well, it heals alright, and it isn't hurting you, I don't see the problem in changing your piercing while at Europe.
It doesn't hurt at all. And I honestly mean that. But ears hurt ten times as bad as my belly button. I was expecting a seriously painful experience, and it didn't hurt at all =]
You aren't supposed to get in the beach water for precaution reasons, but after a few weeks, I don't see how it could hurt to bad. Just clean it really good with Dial soap after swimming.

Yeahh okay im 14/f, im not to young so dont even say that cause im about to be 15. Dont worry!
So like im not saying i want it to happen, like having sex. But sometimes it just happens, and I want to be prepared. Because me and this guy were making out like A LOT on the floor and like he started to unzip my pants and stuff, but I have MORALS! I told him not to. But like even if I wanted to go for it, like idk if Im ready. Like in the emotinal since and like physically because im not on birth control : which im really scared to ask my mom about, and I didnt have a condom, like I know he may have had one but I wouldve felt better if I carried them too : which I would feel very embarassed about buying.
So what I really am asking advice about it is:
-How do I know Im ready?
-How do I tell my mom I might need birth control?
-How do I find a way to be more comfortable buying condoms?
In general how do I protect myself! lol

A big red flag; If you are to embarassed to buy condoms, you shouldn't be having sex. Especially if you are questioning yourself physically and emotionally.
-If you were ready, you would know you are ready. Second guessing yourself is not a good sign of being prepared.
-Just flat out say, "I want to be put on birthcontrol." Ovethinking it will just make it harder. Tell her the truth. Explain how you don't plan on having sex right away, you just want to be prepared just in case.
-There is not way. Either you are ok with buying protection, or you aren't.

When i was going out with another guy, Roy, my best guy freind Gerard, tried everything he could to break us up, he got to the point where he wasnt speaking to me until i brok up with Roy. Theyre best freinds, so i didnt see the problem. But then he came and told me he liked me, and that he wanted to go out, but just not now becuase he wasnt ready for a girlfriend, hes had too many broken hearts. Please keepin mond that ive liked him for a long time before this, but i thought i moved on. I guess i just have a soft spot in my heart for him. So i say yes, and that ive liked him for a long time. He made me break up with the guy, who i really liked. But i thought hed be worth it....he just told me he liked some other girl. Atleast hes being honest but you know, i did verything for him you know? And he didnt return the same feelings anymore, how could you do that to a girl? So then roy says then we broke up for nothing, and he tells me how much he still likes me, and i say well u like you too. Were going out now and im really happy cause gereard is okay with it this time. But i cant help feel deeply hurt by him. I love roy though, i just dont think ill be able to get over Gerard. What do you think?

In my opinion, you are lucking Roy took you back. I probably wouldn't have. I'm sure you deeply hurt him. I think Gerard doesn't like you, because if he did, he would want to be with you. He knew you liked him, and when you started moving on to another guy [Roy] it pissed him off. So, he decided to break you two up. Once he accomplished that, he wanted nothing more to do with you.
It's always hard to get over a crush, no matter of the rude things they may do to you. But Gerard is an asshole. He doesn't like you. But Roy seems to, and he acts like a sweet guy. Give him a chance, and don't blow him off again.

I've been taking Yaz birth control now for a month. My periods used to be real long and horrible. When i get my next period will it be lighter and shorter if i've only been on Yaz for a month?
In the long run, Yaz should make you have shorter, lighter periods. But i've been on Yaz for almost four months, and mine is still a pest.
I don't start my period until the last white pill, and then I continue bleeding for almost 2 weeks. It's not heavy, but it's still inconvienent.
All girls are different so your period could be really light this month, or really heavy. You just have to wait and see.

She had a big crush on Drake Bell at the time, and in an effort to get his attention, she sent those pictures to him. i wanted to get back into reading again, its just really hard for me to find a book that keeps me interested enough to want to read the whole thing threw
my absolute favorite book was The Uglies,
so if anyone can give me the name of a few titles thatd be cool

i have been going tanning for about two weeks, once every 2 or 3 days....i dont use lotion.
today when i went tanning after i noticed that my legs were realyl splotchy...like some parts were super tan and then other spots werent so tan
idk why my legs are like that...is it because i dont use tanning lotion?
Dry skin.
Laying in the tanning bed will cause that, and dry patches don't tan well, and places that aren't so dry, will tan just fine. Leaving splotchy skin. =]
The woman who works wear I tan says to always use tanning bed lotion when laying. Something is always better than nothing. If you don't, your skin will dry out easier.
When laying in the tanning bed on a regular basis like you are, keep lotion on as much as you can. Preferably once when you wake up, after you shower, and before you go to bed, to prevent the dry skin.

The best and only thing you can do is be there for her. She needs you now more than ever, and you should deffinitely explain that to your mom.
The only thing you cuold really do for her right now is hold her hand, and just talk to her when she needs someone. You need to be her backbone and support, since she is lacking that from her family.
Take her mistake and learn from it. Get put on birth control so this doesn't happen to you as well.

My question is, I know when a guys a virgin he won't last long during sex. I know that most of the time it gets longer. But I want to know if there's any cases where a guy will never learn to last longer. Is it possible for someone to stay around 1 - 3 minutes every time? I heard oral, etc, beforehand will make it last longer by my boyfriend says that it makes it shorter, and I'm confused as to how. He says it's extremely hard to 'keep it in' - (we've only had sex 4 times by the way so I am supposing it will begin to get longer in the future :)) I don't actually mind how long sex lasts, I'm happy as I am. I'm just wondering if a) foreplay makes a guy last longer, or shorter - and b) if guys can stay within about 1 - 3 minutes for most of their lives.
Also, on a slightly different subject, my boyfriend says he hates space away from me and he loves the clinginess. Every time I try and give him space he seems to want me there, but I know alot of guys hate girls being clingy. Help me out on what to think? Should I give him space no matter what he says? Or should I go for full on cling like he says he wants. At the moment I'm doing both... but I hate giving him space ;)

As far as the length of sex goes, it varies from guy to guy. On average, virgins tend to not last as long as someone who has sex on a regular basis, however that's not always the case.
In general, foreplay before hand lengthens the whole sexual experience, but makes the actual intercourse most likely shorter.
As long as you are happy with your boyfriend's performance the time it takes for him to finish shouldn't control how well the experience is.

well i have a question..is there anything else you could use besides peroxid and vaseline? i know that alcohol dries everything up way to much...but what about just using vitamin E???

The guy who did my belly button told me the best thing to keep my ring clean and infection free was to use dial soap in the shower.
