I have to baby sit my niece and nephew tomorrow after they get home from school and the little girl is 12 and my nephew is 10 but all I did with them today was watch a movies which was monsters university and mad pop corn after I helped them with their homework and they got bored quickly and I don't have any more ideas so we just basically watched movies when they got home any ideas would be appreciated and please remember I don't have transportation and I am on a tight money budget so any tips would be greatly appreciated thanks . Here are some ideas...
Maybe take out some coloring books and you all can color.
Kids love crafts like fingerpainting or playdo or something.
You all can read. Maybe like make a tent out of blankets and put some pillows in there, pop some popcorn and read, you guys can even watch movies in there.
Baking. Maybe make some simple cookies or brownies together.
Sing and dance.
Games. If they have any board or card games, play some of those. There are also video games, Simon says, Hide and seek, ect.
I know you said you don't have transportation, but if they live in a nice neighborhood, you guys can go for a walk to the park or walk the dogs or ride bikes.
I don't what they have but I hope this helped.

Thanks so much for your advice I was also reading some the advice on here that people gave every body else about babysitting and I saw somebody suggesting that they write ides for games on a piece of paper and fold them up and put them in a bucket so I am going to that with the suggestions people give me thank you so much for helping me because my niece and nephew were bored today and were irritable and cranky because they were bored and got on my nerves lol .
