What is the best dvd ripper for the mac? where can i find a good one? are cheeper ones not as good as expensive ones?

HandBrake (free) can rip DVDs that don't have CSS encryption. All DVDs that you buy in a store are encrypted.

This old version of Mac the Ripper is free, but will only work on DVDs that were manufactured more than a few years ago.

RipIt is $20, and it will work on all disks.
