whats this i hear about websheriff targeting filesharing? did anyone else hear about this?
Web Sheriff is a group of lawyers hired by people who believe that their copyright has been infringed. They have always targeted file sharing sites; that is their purpose. They have no legal authority; they are just another company.
Web sheriff only targets websites that host or link to copyrighted content. They don't go after individual downloaders. Other companies do that.
