I saw another of your answers, quote: "....take the unicode number, put an &#x in front of it and an ; at the end of it. The unicode number of a musical note is U+2669, so its html entity is ♩." I found a chart of miscellaneous symbols and Unicode but when I type that into MySpace it appears just like I type it; instead of a leo symbol it says "♌" Am I typing it wrong? Why doesn't it work? Would appreciate any advice, there are some neat symbols out there. Thanks!
You created the HTML entity correctly, but Myspace doesn't allow numerical HTML entities anymore. Or maybe I didn't check when I wrote that answer (I've updated it).
Generally, where HTML entities don't work, direct input will. There isn't an alt code for leo, so you'll have to use the tried-and-true method of copy/paste. You can do so from the bottom of this answer when you view it here:

You could also use the character map in Start -> all programs -> accessories -> system tools -> character map.
