Hey there (: I'm Bryttnii ♥ I'm a Senior. I'm 17 and I seem to have been through a lot in my seventeen years. I love giving advice & recieving advice. I'm here to give you my honest opinion & responses to your questions. I don't give the answers you want to hear, I give the answers you need to hear. I've had an advice column since I was 14. But of course, I made a new one that I stay on constantly! I take Cosmetology in school and I love it. I get my Cosmetology license in 9 months. I'd like to go to college for Criminal Justice and be a Detective ;] Speak to me about anything.

If a company says that white people can wear jeans, but blacks can't, that's discrimination (illegal). If a company says that employees over age 30 are allowed to wear sandals, but employees younger than that can't, that's discrimination (illegal).

But when a company says that a girl can have pierced ears and a guy can't, that's totally legal, according to the law.

Why is discrimination tolerated in the workplace when it comes to gender, but not religion, race, age, etc.?

Honestly, the world now-a-days is so caught up in stereotypes and everyone thinks the world has to look picture perfect. The world is so chaotic now it's absolutely ricidulous. In certain people's eyes they want guys to look how they think guys are suppose to look [the whole earing thing] but in reality no one can tell someone how they should look. The owners of the business want their employees to look professional but they can't change who a person is. The world is getting so out of hand with their nonsense and BS. ♥
