OK, I have a question.
Do people flirt with the opposite sex even when they dont like them..?

Yeah, probably sometimes. If they are just trying to manipulate the other person (for example, they might think "if I flirt enough with him, he might do my homework for me!") or if they're drunk or something. Also, they might just be naturally really over-the-top friendly, but it comes off as being flirty- I know some people who are like that.
