okay so ive heard from a lot of people that they iron their hair with a normal iron...but my questions are is it bad for your hair? are there any special tips or advice you can give me so i wont burn my hair or anything ? does it work better than straightening ? is it faster ? (link)

In my opinion....using a straightener is much easier and better. when you use an iron its really hard to do your self, so you need some ones help. it doesnt raelly work any better, but with a straightener you can do smaller pieces of hair, and you are less likely to burn yourself
