I really need to start taking my own advice.

i hooked up with my friends bf. yes it was stupid and i really regret it so dont tell me how bad it was. I feel terrible but i made a mistake. now everyone knows. what do i do. (we have the same freinds)

You have one options. Well, two actually, but you'll probably go to Hell for the second one ;)
Be honest. Tell your friend what you did, don't embellish, don't blame the boyfriend. Be straight up, it will just make things easier. Admit to her you were wrong, apologize if you are truly sorry. Expect her to yell, to cry, or to refuse to forgive you, thats normal. I'm proud of you for recognizing your mistake. But now its time to clean things up. With time, maybe things will move on. Maybe she'll realize that her boyfriend obviously wasn't right for her if he's willing to cheat. In the meantime, take your part of the blame, and deal with it the best you can.
