17/f. So there's this guy that I've liked for awhile now, and I just want to get over him. I mean, he's a good guy and all, but I just don't really feel like I have a reason to like him anymore.
This whole summer, I've been making an effort to hang out with him, but we haven't hung out once, so obviously he doesn't like me back.
Whenever we talk online, he talks about himself alot and always takes a long time to respond whenever I'm talking, and sometimes when I talk to him I feel like I don't like him.
I'm probably not going to see him school next year, and I'm sick of being upset that I haven't seen him in a really long time and that he most likely does not feel the same way about me.
So why can't I get over him? Any ideas on how to get over him? =/

Some guys are like that, they are soo slow, and also oblivious to the fact that someone likes them. He could still like you, especially if he cares about what you have to say. But .. he's not the only guy who cares what you have to say. I know there are more guys. Its hard to get over someone I know, because I'm almost in the same boat you are. But the thing is, don't waste your energy over someone who wont waste their energy on you either. Soooner or later a guy who will be begging you for YOUR time will come a long, and this will all seem so silly. Just focus on the main things in life, you dont need a guy to make you happy, I'm sure you already know that.
But if you put your effort into hangingout with him and he still doesnt want to. Theres not a lto you can do.
