I have two female students in my class. they like two baseball players but the two boys are immature yet the girls still like them and the girls still have hope that the two boys would ask them out..
So I told them to give up already because these two boys are not showing any interest...

It seems that it comes to the point where u have to make a decision to whether pursue what you want or to move on.. And in your case, you need to move on because there is plenty of guys that might be attracted to you instead of wasting your precious time nor your effort to flirt with him...
by the way, may be you need to plan to be alone with him instead of playing hide and seek...
May be he feels intimidated that you are always hiding behind Sam....
