whats a bandwagon statement? i cannot find this phrase anywhere

A bandwagon statement is a persuasive sentence that tells you everyone does it, so you should too.

FOR EXAMPLE:
1) You should smoke-all cool people do.
2) So, what are you waiting for? If you want to be one of those sexy models on TV, use the Ab Cruncher 5000!
..ETC., ETC.
