advice

okay so we just had a school dance yesturday and i no this guy that i have liked for like ever likes me back because he told my best friend that he did and he danced with me and hugged me and so i no he's gonna ask me out, but anyway, were only in 7th grade and his parents are really protective apparentley and with his last girl friend when they would go anywhere, his mom would go with them. im scared that if i ever want to go anywhere like to a movie (cause thats what his last gf would do) with him then his mom would go (cause i no shes gonna) and i will be really nervous and it would be so awkward. and when i was dancing with him i didnt no what to talk about so we were both just like dancing all nervous and not talking. so i dont really no if i want to go out with him cause of his mom but i really like him! help please, sorry this is so long....lol

His parents are overprotective because they care...you know how the world is today.

Anyways, if his mom INSISTS on going, sit somewhere she can't see you. Sit in a row behind her if she insists on being close.


You can also go other places besides the movies. IE: Rollerblading, Bowling, Mall..
All of these places have places where you and your boyfriend can go somewhere without his mother. For example, go to the mall & go into a different store like HotTopic--somwhere where his mom would refuse to go.

Remember, you're only in 7th grade so if this doesn't work out, there will be a relationship in your future that will. Don't become a relationship crazy person because in the end, you'll get hurt.
