People tell me I have a reasonabley good voice but I want to make it really good. What exercises can I do to make it stronger cos at the moment I hit a high note and my voice sort of totally disappears. It's real weird! (link)
if your voice isnt naturally high your not going to be able to hit those notes without alot of practice. but at the same time make sure you dont practice too much because this can damage your voice. make sure that when you sing you use your diaphragm(its a muscle located in the bottom portion of your stomach area. when you breathe out/sing, try to push the air out of your lungs from their instead of your chest. this will ensure a louder voice and the ability to hold notes longer. You could also practice scales, or even use a piano to help guide your voice, by pressing the keys one at a time going up and trying to sing along with it. try to project your voice as you do this, but dont scream out the notes, as that wont help you or the people who happen to be nearby. Whatever you do, takeit easy and dont overwork your vocal cords as this could lead to serious problems later. i hope i helped =]
