about

I'm a raw and living foodest. For those of you who are unfamiliar with what that is I only eat foods that have not been cooked. I do this because it maintains all of the nutrients and enzymes intact and is much healthier. I'm not here to try to convert anyone. I think you can reach maximum health by eating all kinds of foods fixed all kinds of ways. This is simply my life choice. What I'm here to do is help educate people as to what is happening to thier food. Did you know that the pharmaceutical companies have lobbied to have a law voted on called "Codex Aimentarius" that will take away our freedom to take suppliments? It has already been implemented in Europe. Of course it is still ok for them to put steroids, antiboitics and harmones in our foods. Have you wondered why there is a great influx of people acting aggressively and out of character? I'm here to help guide you through this mess. If you want to eat meat...eat meat...just get chemically free meat. I'm here to help you understand what is happening to you.

Every two weeks I like to go one day with out eating, or skipping a meal. I do not do it to lose weight but I have heard it is good for you ( I still drink water ) and it helps to flush out toxins in your body. Is this true? I regularily eat small meals throughout the day that are healthy and I get usually 2-4 hours of exercise a day. After fasting for a day I continue with my normal eating pattern and I do not try to eat a lot to make up for it.

This is beneficial, right?

Fasting, if done correctly, is immensely healthy for you. Yes, you do flush toxins out of your body when fasting but usually it is during a 3 day fast that this occurs not a one day fast. That doesn't make your one day fast unhealthy. What you are doing is giving your body a rest, which is well deserved and needed. Your eating habits sound good as well as your work out program. If anyone thinks it is a problem then they need to look at all religions. Christ fasted and we know of one of his biggest fasts that lasted for 40 days and 40 nights. Paul the Baptist fasted and lived mainly on honey and carob. Christians have lost sight of what Lint is about. During Lint we are suppose to fast for the month before Easter. That is part of it is what we are giving up for the month. We are allowed to eat something, like a bowl of lintel soup and a roll for the day, but that originally was as much as we were to eat. We've lost sight of this. Muslims have a huge religious fasting called Ramadan. They take a whole month and fast to bring them closer to God. They are more diligent about it then Christians are but their fasting is from sun up to sun down. They are suppose to do the same thing as Christians are during lint and only eat a bowl of lintel soup but today the majority of them eat whatever they want while the sun is not up. For centuries fasting has been used for reaching enlightenment, energy and health. It is healthy. I've even known people who have cured cancer by going on a juice fast until the cancer goes away. I have included some websites that will give you information about the health benefits of fasting. Good Luck and Happy Health!
