advice

so im sick of being overweight. im 13 and weigh 167lbs..sad i know..but anyhow does anyone have any tips for losing wieght?

ok i dont agree with the last person on the "how much you should weigh because your 13" thing..we cant tell you how much you should weigh beceause we dont know how tall you are...if i were you i would just experiment..see how low you can go without looking anorexic..cuz if you are very short even 120 can still look fat.
Now how to lose the weight? good question...i've been battling this ever since i was young and i have to say the thing that works for me is eating what i want..but watching my calories.
I am 15 years old, 5'8, and i weigh 315 pounds..disgusting right? tell me about it.
So I should get no more than 1200 calories a day...and this is what i do to achieve that..
Lets say I consume 2000 calories..thats obviously alot more than 1200..thats 800 calories more to be exact..
so what i do is workout for however long it takes to burn most of those calories..
i have been in this situation before and i think i burned about 600-700 calories..
and believe it or not this is very effective. esp. for me because im such a picky eater and i can eat what i want and how ever much of it i want just as long as i work the extra calories off later..

EDIT: Some things I do to burn the calories include walking on the treadmill, walking my dog, and excersizes we did in my gym class
