I've finally decided where to go to college next year. I cancelled the housing/dorm form since I figured I could live with my sister in her apartment right by the school. I thought this would be great since the dorms at the school are notoriously crazy and that's not me at all.
Yet, now I'm having second thoughts. I already have a boyfriend, so I'm not worried about finding a 'hot guy' to hook up with or anything, but asside from classes, will I meet as many people? Would I be missing out on basic college experiences if I don't live in a dorm?
I will try my best to help you on this one, but this seems like a hard answer. Some colleges do require you to live in a dorm for the first year or two. Will you meet a few people if you weren't living in a dorm? The answer to that is that you would have to decide that for yourself. You could always visit other dorm rooms if you would like to as well. You should still be able to do college activites even if you didn't have a dorm. You should make sure though that your sister would let you live in her apartment though. Any other questions, you can e-mail me at pcdoctor2@cashette.com Hopes this helps somewhat.

Thanks! I know I'm not very sociable anyway so meeting people would be hard otherwise :-\ But, we'll see.
