I'm a raw and living foodest. For those of you who are unfamiliar with what that is I only eat foods that have not been cooked. I do this because it maintains all of the nutrients and enzymes intact and is much healthier. I'm not here to try to convert anyone. I think you can reach maximum health by eating all kinds of foods fixed all kinds of ways. This is simply my life choice. What I'm here to do is help educate people as to what is happening to thier food. Did you know that the pharmaceutical companies have lobbied to have a law voted on called "Codex Aimentarius" that will take away our freedom to take suppliments? It has already been implemented in Europe. Of course it is still ok for them to put steroids, antiboitics and harmones in our foods. Have you wondered why there is a great influx of people acting aggressively and out of character? I'm here to help guide you through this mess. If you want to eat meat...eat meat...just get chemically free meat. I'm here to help you understand what is happening to you.

Is there anything I can find around the house to make my hands softer, besides soap?

Soap actually dries out our skin, so, the more you wash the dryer our skin becomes, especially in winter. Some things you may have around the house right now to help you out is as follows. Salt: What you would do here is put about a tblspn of salt in a bowl and a tblspn of olive oil. (Olive oil is the best household oil to use on your skin, but if you don't have any use any available oil you have until you can get olive oil.) Rub the mixture all on your hands really well. Wash and dry. You will notice a big difference in how your hands feel. You can also use corn meal as an exfoliate and in the same way. Salt gets better results. Periodically throughout the day you can moisturize your skin and there are several household items that you can do that with. Mayonnaise is great for that. Mayonnaise is eggs, vinegar/lemon juice, oil/olive oil, spices and preservatives. Simply take about a tblspoon at a time and put it into some kind of closed container. This will be what you will use. (You don't want to keep dipping your hands into the family mayonnaise.) A little goes a long way so tap it and then use it. If you have Crisco or any solid vegetable oils, they would make great creams and hydrators. You don't want your hands to feel greasy so use these things sparingly. If you have oat mill then make yourself a cup. When it is warm to the touch spread it all over your hands. Cover them as best you can in oat mill. Leave it on for 15-25 minutes. Rinse off in a sink with a garbage disposal or be sure to put the sink strainer in. This way the oat mill doesn't clog up your sink. This oat mill mask is great for your face/body too. You can add all kinds of things to it like honey and essential oils to get a more intensified treatment. Keep drinking liquids (not sugary sodas) throughout the day. Dry skin is a symptom of dehydration. I hope this has been of some help.
