A close male friend of mine broke his foot and now he can't work, he has to wait for it to heal and stays at his house all day. I've been really supportive and have offered to drive him to the hospital but he delcined. Well he has been a total jerk to me since he broke it. At first I could understand him being in a bad mood but then it started to upset me. For ex, I phoned him and was going to ask him if he wanted a visit. I started the converstation by telling him that I was bored, and he YELLED at me and said "how could you be bored"! And never invited me over.
Another time I phoned him and politly asked why he hadnt answered any of my emails, and then he replied "I don't sit around all day on my computer"!!
He normally isnt like this, I know it must be a drag to have a broken foot and be out of work, but he doesnt have to take it out on me I'm just trying to be nice.
What should I do?

Talk to him and tell him how you feel. If he's still being a jerk, tell him that you just won't talk to him until he changes his attitude. He has no right to treat you like that. He broke his foot! It's not like he will never be able to walk again.
