about

Hello, all- I'm Becky. I'm 16 years old but wise far beyond my years, so hopefully you can expect some good advice from me. I'm not here to spit out cutesy answers to every single question- I won't be a bitch, but I'll be sure to tell it like it is. Just accept it, and consider less-than-sweet answers as tough love. :]

Volleyball is the one sport I love with a passion. I connect with it so well and I've played it for 5 years. This year, alot of conflicts came up that make me miss many practices, games, and tournaments. So, I talked to my coach about becoming team manager and helping out in practices and keeping score for the team during some games. Things like that. But, last year I sat out at every game because I was a freshman, and this year would be my time to play in games. It's hard for me, but I'm deciding to go with the team manager or actually try out and have the concequence of my coach really getting mad at me for missing so many pracitces... which one sounds better?

you should talk to the coach first before you try out, so that you can work out whether or not missing so much practice will be a problem for you. if it won't be, then go ahead and try out, but if it is, you'll have to either get rid of some of those other things, or just go ahead and be the team manager. hope i helped! ♥
