Okay, for the past..6 years my sister and I have been trying to get a dog. But all my mom says is no. I don't think my dad would mind just as long as it didnt shed. She Court [[my sister]] and I have found numerous types of dogs that are SO cute AND don't shed. All my mom says is I'll consider it. It's on all of our Christmas/Birthday lists but nothing happens. We want a dog sooo bad. Please help! And by the way, I've tried to say I'll take care of it..that didnt work either =( I RATE HIGH (link)

I say that you and your sister put together a powerpoint about these dogs, such as poodles, who do not shed and the cost of upkeep and such. If you do this you will prove to your parents that you are responsible, so that they will see that you can take care of a dog together. I would also mention the smaller dogs, such as a miniature or toy poodle that has a smaller appetite and a smaller requirement for exercise, because those dogs would be easier and cheaper to take care of.
