how do you get a guy's attention? I'm also really shy .. so any tips on not being.....so shy? haha. Thanks much!

This may not be the answer you're looking for, but maybe you have to take the initiative and be a little more outgoing. Thats what I always do. I, myself am a bit shy around new people, or whatever. But when I'm placed with another shy person, I always step up first and make it less awkward, by making conversation and asking them questions they'll have to answer (avoid yes or no questions). Find out what he likes, and make conversation about that. Good luck!
