hey i been friends with Ashely for about 6 years and we are best friends and we were going out to dinner and a movie with group of friends and i pick here up and i walk in and i show her cuting her self and her dad and mom was not home i dont want Ashely to get her or i know some times u can die from cutting your self do u think i should tell some one or just keep it to myself?

You should tell someone for sure! I know it may be hard to tell on her and she may even be angry with you for a little while, but you have to realize is the fact that your friend, Ashley has a very serious problem that is not only unhealthy, it is just dangerous. She needs special attention. She may also need someone to talk to about her problems. First, you should try asking her if there is something wrong with her... Or if theres anything she needs to talk about. Just be a great listener and let her vent her feelings and that could help a lot. If the problem persists, you should definately tell her parents or a counselor or something.
