advice
Hello, I am a girl and I want to buy an at home waxing kit for my face, mainly my upper lip and my eyebrows. I have sensitive skin. Im not that educated on waxing. I dont know the difference between, hot waxing, cold waxing, 'sugaring', and no heat waxing, ready to use strips, or something. There seems to be alot of products by sally hansen. My question is, which is the best, easiest, and cheapest one to buy? Keep in mind my skin is a little sensitive, and I dont have alot of money, either. 10 dollars is even alot for me. I also dont want the hair to grow back very fast, i just got a wax on my uperlip and it was a very bad job and grew back in 2 days. Any suggestions on which little kit thing i should buy (no nads)? THANKS!
well heres some waxing basics for you first:
Hot waxing: where you heat the wax up. but if you heat wax be sure not to get it too hot to where you burn your skin!
cold waxing: just regular wax usually attached to strips, which are patted onto the skin I believe its not supposed to be as painful as hot waxing (in my opinion neither hurt)
sugar waxing: no different than regular waxing, ive never tried it but people who have swear that it doesnt hurt at all(this may be your best option)
No heat waxing: the exact same thing as "cold" waxing
ready to use strips: just a term which means that the strips are already cut into pieces for you to use.
i'm not sure on the whole easiest, best and cheapest because i havent tried many waxes...but since you say you have sensitive skin try anything thats sugar wax. they also have things where you can bleach your hair but i dont know if you can on your face...esp. yours since its sensitive. My advice: stick to sugar waxing..and if thats too hard you COULD try cold wax..but whatever you do DONT DONT DONT DONT DONT buy those creams that "melt" away hair! it will do absolutely nothing but irritate your skin! and cause really bad rashes! and a little tip...when you wax...make sure you put some sort of soothing lotion over the area you waxed after you clean your face off! most waxes come with it but if not i spose you can buy some! hope i helped and good luck!
(Rating: 5) you are so inteligent, i love you. you helped me alot even if it is just waxing lol THANK YOU!
