My cd burner used to burn a lot of cds. But then when i moved and had to install all the programs for the computer it didnt work anymore. All the software is in the computer for it also. When i start to burn a cd its spits the cd out and says to lower the speed on my computer, which i did and it still wont work and it sometimes says to use a diff brand of a disk, any ideas on what is wrong or anywebsite to go get a upgrade or a brand of disk that usually works on any burners thanks muhc sry its long
This may or may not help: Lets say your burner is a 32x burner. Lets say the CDs you bought were 24x. By using a 24x CD, your 32x burner should slow down to 24x to accomodate the CD speed. It is the same if you have CDs that are a higher speed than your burner. Make sure you didn't buy CD-RWs unless that's what you have.

***Some software requires you to lower the speed yourself, try making it lower than the recommended speed.
P.S. I had the same problem with my CD burner. I couldn't use Imation Cd-r's for some reason.
***Have you tried reinstalling your drivers?
