me and my friend found a baby blackbird yesterday whilst mowing the lawn. Its hurt its wing. we kept it in a cage over night and put her in a rabbit run this morning. Its mum keeps on coming and feeding him and we don't no what to do. should we lets him go or should we keep him for a couple more nights. by the way next door have five cats!

Let its mum come feed it in the rabbit run. It will be the best thing for the baby bird, because it will prevent the mother from rejecting the baby. Keep the baby blackbird in the run until its wing is fully healed. If you let it go too soon, the cats will definitely get it. Letting it go later after it's ready is better than letting it go before it's ready.
