How do I get rid of my writers' block?

Try:

1. Writing at a different time than you normally would- when you wake up or late at night.
2. Go out for a walk in a crowded area, and write down everything you see.
3. Try remembering your dreams, and writing down what happened.
4. Open a book at random and take an idea from the first sentence- do the same with photos in magazines and the pictures on cds in shops.
5. Go back to what you've already written and check through it. I do this sometimes and you can think of really good stuff you missed the first time.
6. Look up "The Writer's Block"- it's a book designed simply for providing inspiration. They sell it on Amazon.com

(Rating: 5) That was fantastic advice! I just recently returned to the site so that I could share the experience that I've grown over the last couple years, and the first thing I wanted to share with my thank you to you! :-)
