Hi, I'm Sophie. Welcome to my advice column!
I know I'm only fourteen and you may think that I know practically nothing, but I've been through a lot for a fourteen-year-old and I've seen a lot of things that other fourteen-year-olds haven't.
I've been depressed before and I've been through stages of my life where I've had nobody to talk to and nobody to turn to. I know how tough it is, so I suppose that's why I signed up for this site.
I want to help others who aren't as fortunate as I am now.
I'll try and help with whatever I can. I'm just starting out on here but soon hopefully my personal page will be slightly nicer to look at and stuff.

I've just had a few knocks lately with everything and i've lost my confidence and i've got low self esteem how do it get my confidence and steem back. Many thanxz (link)

What you have to remember, hun, is that you're you for a reason and deep down, would you change that??
Everyone has hard times in their lives, but try to remember that one day you'll see the sun again and stuff will cheer up for you.
For the moment, try to concentrate on what you're good at and, if possible, go out with your friends for a day.
Try to tell someone how you feel, too. A problem shared is a problem halved!
And also know that what doesn't kill us makes us stronger.
