Hey. :) Overall, the story is great, but the first paragraph the sentances are short and the paragraph is a lot of detail. People might get a little bored with that. Heres an example of something you could do-

You can turn that into something like this, making people more interested as you describe what you are doing WHILE you add detail instead of what you are doing and then all the detail.

For example:

this:

"The ground was soaked from the rain that had poured down for days."

into this:

"With my hands in my pockets, drops of mucky brown water started caking on the sides of my shoes from each step, from the rain that lasted several days."

That was just an example though, its not the best and the first thing that came to my mind. Just play aroudn and experiment with these things until it seems right. If you need more help with this feel free to drop a question in my inbox.

you may think he's stupid for not asking my permission first but he only cares..

Did you tell your parents they were expensive? Try to convince them and tell them that if your boyfriend was willing to spend money for expensive tickets for a concert, that shows he really does care for and love you, and that you feel really bad that you had to turn it down.

They are probably just worried about you--they are your parents, and they don't want you to get hurt. Tell them you will bring a cellphone and put it on vibrate so that if they need to call and see if you are alright, they can, OR you can call during an intermission or something to let them know how things are going and if everythings ok.

Safety:
-Promise to stay in a place with crowds because then if something were to happen to you, such as someone attempting to kidnap you(not to make you worry-its just safety), people will see you for SURE.
-If by any chance you did get attacked by someone scream "HELP!". Do NOT /just/ scream, because many people wont realize that you are screaming for help, they may think you are just a teen fooling around and wont turn around and see you. When people hear you scream "Help" I sware they will turn their heads so fast and see you.

But this is way off topic--just let your parents know you will do those things and be careful and responsible.

If worse comes to worse and they still will not allow you to go, you probably will need to give the tickets to someone else. =[ Good luck

You should be on birth control because yes, accutane can cause birth defects. Hope I helped.

Q: is it ok to put contacts in water instead of solution over night?

I probably wouldn't do that. I did that and they were irritating the next day -- but are you out of solution? If you are, it should be okay, but it might just feel weird. Like you will be able to feel your contacts while wearing them.

Q: I'm wondering what color I should dye my hair. I dyed my hair black about 4 months ago. My original color is dark brown and my skin is like caramel. My hair goes a little past half of my back. I'm thinking I want to dye my hair like a light light brown so that it looks almost orangy, or like a deep red, its kind of reddish purplish. Tell me what you think. What other colors could I dye my hair ?

Alright, I would go with dark shades of the colors you suggested. The darker colors should compliment your skintone. Dont go crazy with them though, definatly get dark and subtle shades. Hope I helped.

So I'm 13/f, and I've been wanting a lip ring for about a year and a half. All my friends that are my age hate lip rings (except one) and my grandma (whom I live with) said I can't get one until I'm 18. Well I've been researching about it, like the risks, and side effects and stuff. I've absolutely decided I will NOT do it unless the materials are sterilized (my OLDER friends got their friends to do it with safety pins) But I was researching, like the different types, because I haven't decided on that either. I currently wear a fake one (lame, I know) just to get used to it and such. (Its the hoop that goes around your lip) Anyway though I was wondering if anyone knows a site that has details on different types of lip rings? I searched google, but all I got was mostly stores. I'm trying to get as much research and side effects and such done so I can make a convincing argument. My birthday's the 23rd, and I was hoping to try and talk my grandma into letting me get a lip ring for then.

I'm wondering about a lip ring segment, lip hugger, and a few more.

Hey, no matter how sterilized anything is can't prevent infections or anything. Like the person below me said, you wont die or anything but it can still be dangerous. Also, 13 is a pretty young age to wear a lip ring.. but if you really want one, keep researching and go for it.

You should get layers. =] Those always look nice. And I would get highlights instead of lowlights, like a blondish color. I have light brown hair also with blondish highlights and I get a lot of compliments. :) Hope I helped

I'm NOT here to tell you that you are a bonehead. I'm going tell you this, however:

Dont drink underage. Did you know that more than half the women with STD's had gotten them when they were drunk, so it was easier to get raped?

I dont think you want to get raped - you could get an STI/STD, you can get pregnant. Some STI's and STD's can kill you.

HOWEVER-One of your questions is good, how to turn down a drink at a party. Obviously just a plain, "No, I'm good" works. But if they insist, try not to give in but if it doesn't work just dont actually drink it.

lately, for like the past week or so, when i sleep on my stomach, when i wake up it hurts so bad. no like .. a "tummy ache" .. but like there are a thousand bricks laying on my chest/lung area. it first started when i slept on the floor [on my stomach] at my friends house about a week ago. does anyone know why this is? i understand it could be sore from sleeping on the floor, but shouldn't it be gone by now?

You should definatly see a docter, it could be serious. Also, is it less painful as it was before? If it isn't, you may be getting better but should still see a docter JUST INCASE.

Q: basically, i really like buying over the internet. through ebay, or clothing sites, wherever. over the past while my dad's lent me his credit card for no more than minute to enter it at the checkout in online shopping.

that's all fine, but i've memorized the number, and set up a paypal account with it. so whenever i want to buy anything, i can. i get it delivered home, and i arrive home before anyone else, so i get the package, open it, and hide it in my room.

it hasn't been too much, i've bought like four shirts for around fifteen each, and some underwear, but i still feel really bad about all of it.

You need to stop, because this has happened before where someone got my parents credit card number [in this case, its you] we didn't know who it was but large amounts of money were being spent.

It caused a TON of trouble...first of all, the bank made the card unusable, for example, me and my mom were at the grocery store and when she swiped the card it was rejected or something, and she called the bank and they said they disabled it because a lot of money was being spent and they thought someone might have had the credit card number [which they did]

Soon this is all going to catch up and your parents WILL notice. For all they know they might think someone (other than you) got the number and is spending money freely. It's going to cause a lot of trouble.

You really have to stop, and the more things you buy the more guilty you will feel. If possible that you can return the stuff you bought (if you haven't worn it yet) You should. And you should DELETE THE PAYPAL ACCOUNT.

Whenever you have the urge to buy something, just think of all the trouble you can cause soon. Don't let yourself do this.

Q: I'm really bored.I like to try new things and start fun projects like combining archietecture,photoghraphy and sculpture into a single art work.I just want to have fun.Please could you think of something fun for me to do.Any suggestions are appreciated.

There are tons of fun things to do, one thing is latchhooking. Have you ever tried it? If you haven't, its a piece of material with holes and you use this tool to tie small strands of yarn into it. When you are done with it, it looks like a big furry sort of thing.

You said you liked architecture, photography, and sculpture into one single piece of art... what I can think of is getting clay, and sculpt it into a sky scraper, and put pictures of your friends into various windows here and there.

But aside from that, there are still tons of things to do. In the winter, since you can't do much outside, you can get a magazine you like and read it. Some magazines even have suggestions of things to do.

You didn't mention if you are a boy or girl so I'll list ideas for both-

If you are a girl, you can try things like rearranging your room for a fresher look. If you like to read grab your favorite book. Scrapbook, listen to music, even clean your room & do your homework.

If you are a boy, you can play games on the computer, read, hang with friends, ask your parents anything you can do for money because then, another time when you are bored, you can spend it (:

Sorry, the answer was long but I didn't give that many ideas. The other advice I can give you is ask your friends what they do when they have nothing to do, and get ideas from that. Have fun =)

Q: ok well this story is kinda long so i apologize. anyways well this guy and i were getting along great together. it started in my art class when i didnt even know he existed but he was aware of me. he would try to talk to me and i would but i wouldnt be crazy about it. but then he started to grow on me. and i started to like him. so i would talk to him he would talk to me, he would tease me, play with me, walk to class with me, actually walk with me alot, stare at me, and he did this thing where he would always ask me to do favors for him and i would smile and kinda soft yell thing and said no and so he kept doing that and it would be like, "can you get my shoes or books?" ect and then one day in the lunch line he asked me for another favor and i thought maybe you should say yes and i said yes and he said nevrmind and im like what tell me and he told me he just wanted to see me mad. so this went on for a while untill one day all of a sudden he stopped talking to me. ignored me and everything. he walked with me to class but as we were walking it was just silence and we would always be talking about something. i would try to talk to him and hed ignore me and i didnt know what was up. so i tried to plan what i was gonna do with him everyday to try to get things back to normal but they didnt work. so i said i give up and gave up on him. and so i wanted to get over him really bad because i was feeling pain becuz i missed everything we would do. so i thougt the best thing to do was to get mad at him. so here and there he talks to me but i ignore him or talk in a mean tone. but today which kinda shocked me he started flirting with me a little bit. he was blocking me from going up the stairs and i was happy but i didnt show any smiling. my emotion was kinda like leave me alone i dont wanna be bothered with anyone right now. ok so here is the whole question. am i doing the right thing or should i start being nice to him letting this being a wake upcall telling me there is still hope? or should i keep being mean to him??? and why do you think he stopped all of this?? that someone heard my best friend and i talking and told him. and then if i should be nice to him how do i talk to him again?? thank you so much and sorry this letter was so wrong. thanks again:)

You have to ask him why he was ignoring you before. Since he is talking to you again, maybe you will be able to get him to tell you.

Q: um..there was no section on art so I'll put this here:
well for an art project..you know those black papers that you carve your art and the part you carved will have colour? well my art has a lot of fire in it so does anyone have any ideas of the texture i could put into my fire to hlep make it look real and to carve a lot mor einto the art instead of a giant fire and then in line it smaller and smaller? Big marks for texture in thsi class..

Well, make sure to have a lot of reds, oranges, yellows, and some white in it... for textures you could make it look a little scratchy in some parts? A girl in my art class last year made her painting look a little scratchy in her artwork for water and it looked amazing, she had small curves with white and it blended into blue.

Q: how do you pronounce chi? lol i feel so stupid but is it like chee or chy or what?

I'm 99.9% sure its pronounced chee because my hair dresser said it like "chee" as did the one I went before, all my friends pronounce it like that too.
