so my myspace account was phished. i understand the phishing concept, although when i go to unphish it, the box with the random letters does not show up, what's the deal?
It's a problem with myspace right now, they're trying to fix it. Tom posted this bulletin:
" if you got locked for being phished in the last hour, it's a bug! we're working on fixing it right now. sorry about that! the mechanism to detect if your account has been phished has been very powerful for stopping phishing, but it went a little haywire just now. things should be back to normal soon! if you're wondering what phishing is, read my blog :)"
so basically you just have to wait it out, I know, it's so freaking annoying ahah.
i feel like i'm wearing a mask . everyone sees me as this preppy girl wearing hollister & crap . but i'm really not like that at all. i listen to scremo and rock music , and i wan't to dye my hair blonde & black . i want to come out and say it . it's really hard saying this but i really wanna , and i wan't to start being more like myself . but im not sure how . i want to express how i feel . is there anyone that understands where and what im coming from and can help me? i probobly sound like some overly obsessed person whos all into lables . but i just need to start telling the truth.
Well I don't know if this is what you'd want to hear, but I'll say it anyway. It doesn't matter what you look like, you don't have to dress like a scene kid with blonde/black hair just to make people know you like screamo etc, do it because you want to look like that. You can listen to that music and still dress preppy.
I guess I was kind of like you a few years ago, I didn't want people getting the wrong impression of me so I dressed like a punk girl. I still do sometimes but now a lot of the time I wear polos and cute shirts, and no stranger would know that I'm in a band or work the underground music scene, but it doesn't matter because my friends do and that's all I really care about.
If you feel like you're wearing a mask, just go for it and do whatever you want. Wear what you like and act how you want, not just so people see you as what you are/want to be, but so you're comfortable with who you are. Find fun clothes, dye your hair how you like it, just be yourself. And yeah it's easier said than done but you'll get it.

does the sugar free red bull taste that much different from the regular red bull? is it worth it or does it taste gross?
It's not too different as long as it's chilled, but if you're drinking red bull you might as well go all out and drink the regular kind :) . Unless you need to lower your sugar intake, then of course it's a good option and tastes fine I think.
okay, so in New York state how old do you have to be to get tattooed or have a monroe or something?
i'm 15 and live in the 12590 area.
You have to be 18 to get a tattoo or piercing without parental consent, but I believe if you are 16 or older most parlors will let you when you have a parent or legal guardian present. Just go into the parlor and ask the employees to be sure, but you have to have a parent with you to legally enter a tattoo/piercing parlor.
i'm not sure if any other cities [or towns, as the one i'm in] do this, but every friday night at midnight at a local cinema, a theater company puts on the rocky horror picture show. one of my best friends goes almost every week, and this friday we're going. it's always themed, and everyone always dressed really provocativel/slutty. but other than that, i don't really know what it is. is it an actual show, like a play production, or is it a movie [although i know its based on the movies], or what. if anyone has any idea, that would be helpful (:
It could also be the actual live production. Then before the show they would hand you a bag of props such as a mini flashlight, toast, rice, anything that's found in the movie. And at different cues you throw the prop on stage. It's really fun, I go sometimes, it's even better when you dress up.

Hey.
One of my best friends has just started smoking pot and it's been freaking me out. She doesn't do it on a regular basis yet, but she hangs out with kids who are full-fledged potheads.
We've been friends for a really long time and I care about her a lot...I don't want her to do anything stupid. I don't harbor any delusions about the dangers of weed; I know it won't kill her, but I just don't want her to get in too deep or something. I love her, but she doesn't always have the best judgment...
So my question is: would it be out of line for me to confront her about it, or should I just mind my own business?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
When I was fourteen, my friend started doing pot too and hanging out with people that would drink and stuff constantly. I never said anything to her [I thought it was just a phase, but I see now at 18 years old that she's still doing the same thing], we were still friends but we definitely grew apart. Looking back, I wish I would have told her that I was concerned for her. Even if she would have gotten angry at me or told me to stop judging her, I still wish I would have confronted her. Or at least made her aware of how scared I was for her safety.
Maybe just bring it up to her if you notice any changes with her, such as grades dropping, or if you two start growing apart. Just tell her how you feel, if she cares about you she will take your feelings into consideration. Hope I helped, or at least gave some insight.

Well, if you can't get to photoshop, try another photo editing program, such as www.gimp.org [it's free too]. On that site there's also plenty of tutorials to help you. I'm sure if you type something like "free online photo editors" you can get a lot more results, but I highly suggest gimp.

Well I just finished high school, maybe I can help.
-Get a really comfortable bookbag and one that won't break. I spent like $80 on my bookbag in 8th grade but it was worth it because it lasted through all of highschool.
-paper notebooks, pencils, pens
-hard, three ring binders are great, get one for each major class you have
-"book sox" or book covers, they're really convenient

hey, well i'm 14/f. how old do you have to be to get a tattoo?? i know i'm to young now, but how long would i have to wait?? cause i really want one. a small one on my foot. see, my cousin and half-sis both have a tattoo on their feet, and i think it looks soo cute!! my cousin has her sign (leo) and my sister has that one thing sign from the video "Where is the love?" with the little box with the question mark, and around the box it says where is the love, and i can't remember what is on the other foot. and also, how bad does it hurt?? it looks like it would hurt pretty badly, and i don't always handle pain very well. like, what does it feel like? is there any examples? if and when i get one, i want it to be one of those Fleur-de-lis and it would probably be in pink. would that be cute?? i know i'm thinking of this too soon, but i think its fun to just think of different things that would be cute. anyways, thanks a bunch!!! To answer the question about the pain: I have a tattoo on my shoulder blade, and in that area it basically felt like I had a really bad sunburn and then a cat was scratching all over it. Eventually it went numb. Then mine hurt for like two weeks after, just like a bruise. The foot is gonna hurt because it's all bone, but if you really want it you can tolerate the pain.
And yeah, most places will let you get one at 16 with parent permission, that's how old I was when I got mine. Some places go as low as 14 with parent permission, but most places won't.
ok, i live in Pa and have had my junior license for a little bit over a year. I plan on going to jersey this summer, can i with my junior license drive to jersey?? and if not, if i get my unrestricted license, would i be able to?? if it help i'm 17 and 1/2. thanks :)
I'm pretty sure there's no PA law restricting you from driving to another state with your junior license, just as long as you're not driving after 11PM.
And I'm sure you know this, but if you've had your junior license for over a year, without any vehicle violations or accidents where it was your fault, you can get your senior [unrestricted] license as long as you've taken an approved driver's education course and a certain number of behind-the-wheel instruction with a professional instructor. Yes, colleges look at not only your grades but also the difficulty of the classes [honours, AP classes]. You can still get into a good college, especially if you continue to take advanced classes, do community service, do well on SATs/ACTs, other things like that. Plus you're only a freshman, so you don't have to worry about college for a few more years.
Tonight my mom and I were talking about jewelry and clothes. She said she didnt care if I buy the jewelry, that it is my money and I should spend it the way I like.. Then we started to talk about clothes. And I told her that I want to go clothes shopping and buy some tee-shirts. She said with all the summer and winter clothes you have you dont need any
more clothes. You need an apartment. I told her that the best times to buy clothes is at the end of the season for two reasons one everyone knows (cheaper) and for another no one knows (they keep some clothes to release at the end of the season). I said to her are you saying you dont think I should ever buy clothes and she said when did I ever say that. She then said to me; that I should wait a couple of months to buy clothes after I pay off my charge card. BUT I FEEL AS IF SHE SAYING SHE DOESNT THINK I SHOULD BUY CLOTHES. YOU SEE SOMETIMES WHEN WE GO TO STORES SHE WILL TRY TO TALK ME OUT OF BUYING. MY QUESTION: AM I OVERREACTING AND IF I AM WHY AND IF I AM NOT WHY NOT?
I see your mother's point, but also your point with the clothes being cheap and such. You might be overreacting a little bit, because it would be a good idea to save your money and pay off your charge card, so you don't rack up a lot of debt. Maybe go out and buy a few shirts, but don't spend too much. Then you'll be happy you bought some new clothes and you won't have spent a huge amount of money.
ok so this has happened more than once and im not sure if its normal...
i wake up the morning after me and my boyfriend did some dry humping, forking/spooning stuff...and the bone like i guess its your pelvis hurts like if it is pressed against, kind of like a tiny bruise. it usually goes away a day or two later. but just wondering if other people usually sometimes felt this. thanks!
That happens to me too, and I usually get a bruise around that area [sometimes the bruise is actually pretty big]. But I think the pain is worth the pleasure haha :D .

Since it's a Fall Out Boy concert, there's gonna be plenty more people like you going that will probably wear hollister and stuff like that, so don't worry about it. Just wear really basic jeans or shorts since it might be hot out, and a tshirt, but don't wear a fall out boy shirt. Wear sneakers.
Don't worry about what you wear, just go to have fun, not to make a fashion statement.

its SUPER embarrassing for people to see your sweaty armpits, its disgusting. but i dont know what to use to get rid of it. i've tried that Certain-dri stuff i got at Walgreens, and it doesn't work for me. any other suggesstions?
Try dry-sol. Go to your doctor and get a prescription for it, follow the instructions, and it should work for you. I need to use it, my armpits are soo sweaty.
I'm 15 years old and I can't swallow pills. :(
I can swallow pasta whole and recently I swallowed a vitamin that was coated in something that made it slippery so it was easier to swallow but not everything comes like that, of course. And I don't remember how I did that. It's really annoying because I just got these pills but I CANNOT swallow them. I've practiced with tic tacs but even they don't go down. I try putting it in my mouth then gulping water and tilting my head back but it doesn't work. What's wrong with meee?!
I have trouble swallowing pills too, probably because I think about it too much instead of just swallowing. Anyway, what I usually have to do is put the pill at the very back of my tongue, like almost to the point where you'll hit your gag reflex, and then close your mouth and swallow a little bit and just let the pill slide back. Don't know if you already do that, but it's worth a try.
