I just started using tampons a month or two ago. At first i had a problem inserting them. Now i can but it takes me at least 5 minutes to put one in. Another thing is that when i take it out, it hurts. I don't know why because i usually leave it in for 5 hours which should be enough time for it to soak. I am going on a trip this weekend and when we stop at rest areas i dont want to take a long time taking it out and putting one in and i really don't want to wear a pad. It takes me a long time to take it out also because it hurts. It takes me on average about 7- 10 minutes to take the tampon out and to put one in. What should i do on the way to where im going? Why is it hurting so bad for me to take the tampon out when i am leaving it in for 4-5 hours and my flow is not really that light? Thanks!
i don't know if this really pertains to you or not but the first time i put one in i panicked because i didn't know how to take it out, i was just pulling on it slightly and it really hurt so i asked my mom hah kinda weird but i was freaked out anyway she said just pull really hard and i did and it came out really easily because i pulled it out fast.. again i really don't know if thats the problem your having with it or not. also remember to put it in at an angle, and everything the other person told you is great to remember

I really badly want to learn to play the guitar. I thought I would start off learning with an acoustic guitar. But I have some questions...
1) If you know how to play the acoustic guitar can you automatically be able to play an electic guitar? (By that I mean like the guitars you see rock bands like Bon Jovi, Buckcherry, and Coldplay using)
2) I'm left-handed. I know I will have to get a special guitar to play. But I will need to take lessons and if the instructor is right-handed can he still teach me? If so, will it be hard for him to teach me? Or should I just find a left-handed instructor?
3) What are like the best kind of guitars? Cost is not an issue so please give me the best you can think of.
4) What kind of accesories will I need for my new guitar? (ex. guitar pick, carrying case, strap...?)
5) Can you give me some links to good begginer guitars?

learning acoustic guitar is a good start. most likely you will not be able to play the electric guitar right away, but it depends on what you mean. because i think anything you can play on the acoustic guitar you can play on the electric guitar and vice versa. but traditionally the acoustic and electric guitar playing styles are different. you will still learn all of your basic need to know chords. your instructor could probably better teach you anything you need to know about the guitar. Just tell the instructor the kind of music that you like and they should be able to help you become the musician you hope to be. also if you go to a good instuctor they should have no problem teaching you left handed. it won't be as easy as if you were right handed but they should be able to do it fine. i've also heard of some left handed people playing the guitar right handed, so you may want to try both ways and see which is more comfortable. Acoustically you would probably want to get a dean, epiphone, or a gibson. personally i don't think fender makes that great of an acoustic, but thats just my opinion. also if you could have someone who knows about guitars go with you to get yours that would be great, or the people who work there are usually very knowledgable. as for electric guitars, fender stratacaster is an amazing guitar. you will need like a million guitar picks because they get lost really really easily, always keep one with you. you will need a guitar case thats decent. you might need a kapo, which changes the key of your guitar. you also will need good strings because usually when you buy a guitar the store puts cheap strings on it depending on where you go. if your going to get an electric guitar you will need an amplifyer. thats all i can think of as for need right now.
http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/ is a great place to get guitar tabs or chords for your favorite song. they don't have EVERYTHING. but they sure have a lot. i would be surprised if they didn't have what you are looking for. Nirvana has some easy songs you could start off with if your into them. HAPPY GUITAR PLAYING! :D

it doesn't always pop and it doesn't have to. some peoples just stretch. i think it bleeds though. also it may not bleed that much so maybe you never noticed. but i doubt that.

so i have a pool in my backyard and go to the beach constantly and you know im gonna wanna have a pool party for my birthday. and with planning ahead and sending out invitations im scared the party dates gonna fall on when i start my period. and its not like i can chart it or anything because i take medicine which makes it realllly irregular and unpredictable and i cant use a tampon. ive tried and it just wont...go in! and my mom thinks theyre really unhealthy.
and especially when i have my guyfriends over, what do i tell them?? ahh im freaking out here. HELP?!?!

to add to other peoples response. you usually don't bleed as much when underwater and wearing a tampon is completely safe and really a good idea when going swimming just in case. make sure you are using them properly and use the instructions. maybe try smaller ones? also no guys would have to know as long as the string isn't hanging out. just tuck it inside your swimsuit if this bothers you tuck it under the liner that is in most swimsuitss

I want to know how i can take windows media player vids and/or vid playlists to itunes to import to my ipod nano. How do I do that?
you may be able to send them to itunes via the same way that you send songs. by creating a folder on your desktop and storing the files there and then selecting all of the files and dragging and dropping them into your itunes.. i'm not sure. i hope you figure something out. :)

hey i got your advice on my dads ipod? Well i managed to get my music into itunes but i still dont know how to send it to the ipod - help!
okay all you have to do is
A. plug it in via the usb cord then
B. open itunes
C. a tab on the left hand side should pop up that says Devices and under that it should say IPOD or something like that (if it doesn't say ipod hit the arrow next to devices and it should come up) D. click on IPOD tab
E. there should be a button that says SYNC in the bottom right hand corner. hit that.
If a messege pops up that says you don't have enough space on your ipod you have to A. create a playlist.. to do this you simply hit the PLUS sign in the bottom left hand corner and a tab that says untitled playlist will come up then just drag and drop tunes from Library music into the playlist.(it should tell you how much space the songs on that playlist are taking up at the bottom of the screen==make sure it doesn't go over the amount that can fit on your particular ipod)
B. once you have made the playlist go back to the ipod tab. then use the tab at the top that says MUSIC to select the particular playlist you want on your ipod. THEN hit sync again and you should get songs to come up.
If you need additional information ask. i also know how to get lyrics on the ipod i think..

I hate these questions, but I'm so desperate and I don't have anyone to turn to.
Everything is just going downhill. Track is over, so I have nothing to do and no one to hang out with because my friends all have their own lives. My boyfriend cheated on me with a girl that I really don't think highly of, and I don't know if I should take him back or not. Everytime I see him, all I could think about is those two kissing, and how betrayed I feel. He wants to get back together and is trying, but at this time I cannot trust him. My sister keeps claiming I'm lazy because I am home, when really I just have nothing to do. I have finals coming up, plus I should be going to get my license sometime soon. My boss wants me to work a double job for three days in July, which I don't know if I could handle it. I really don't mean to complain, I just really need someone to vent to.
I need someone to tell me something, anything.
i would never get back with someone who cheated on me unless i loved them. or maybe to get back at him. but thats terrible and you shouldn't do that. haha. anyway i know how you feel about the having nothing to do. maybe you could take a summer class or find something to do. run on your own or with a friend. and venting is definately good. you should hang out with your friends, its almost summer. read. see movies. find good music venues. and hang with the fam. even if it does sound ultra lame. it can be fun. :)

I'm your typical 14 year old freshman girl almost done with her first year of highschool(thank god). Last year though, I had REALLY high self esteem which is weird because I had braces and wasn't as pretty now, some people even called me too cocky. Over the summer, my friends and i would go to the mall and they would always be the ones to get the guys and it really lowered my confidence ever since then for some reason. Plus, this year I dealt with a lot of family issues, my parents were separated for awhile but are together now. However, now we have financial trouble and it's really tough for all of us. Just everything changed this year and I can't seem to get past it all. I gained a few pounds, I want surgery on my nose, blah blah blah. I can't get a job, no one wants to hire me. I don't get along with my dad. I think I'm pretty but not to the point where a guy would fall head over heels for me. I want to go back next year improved, with much more confidence. Do you think it's just a typical phase of a freshman? It's just I use to be that hysterical girl who cracked everyone up and I was so outgoing even though I'm generally a guiet person. I just want to be who I used to be and don't know how to get back. Please don't think I'm a drama queen or anything because I'm really not like this whatsoever. I haven't talked about this to anyone about I have felt this past year. Any advice/comments would gratefully appreciated.
okay. so your self esteem being lower probably has a lot to do with whats going on in your life. your stressed out obviously. im sure your beautiful and don't needs surgery, a lot of girls are unhappy with their appearance, but don't reallize how beautiful they are and also don't realize that a lot of guys really don't want a girl who is fake. your only 14 you don't really NEED a boyfriend anyway. You just need to remind yourself that you are a confident beautiful smart young woman who is perfectly capable of getting a guy and running her life just the way you are. you don't need to change for someone else to except you.

My dad got an ipod - basically i have no idea how to get the music on it - intructions did not help.
I downloaded itunes but really what i want to do is put all the stuff thats on my windows media player on to the ipod - but im not sure how.?

all you have to do is put all of your music into a folder on the desktop. to do that just right click and hit create new folder or whatever. then you drag and drop all of your music files into that folder. and then drag and drop all of them into itunes. to select all of them at once either hightlight them all with your mouse or if that doesn't work hit shift and highlight them all. once you have them in itunes, connect the ipod with the usb cable and it will bring up a tab on the left that say ipod or whatever click that and customize what you want on the ipod. i hope that made sense love.
