ipod help

My dad got an ipod - basically i have no idea how to get the music on it - intructions did not help.
I downloaded itunes but really what i want to do is put all the stuff thats on my windows media player on to the ipod - but im not sure how.?
Please help with simple intructions as im S - L - O W thanks xoxo

all you have to do is put all of your music into a folder on the desktop. to do that just right click and hit create new folder or whatever. then you drag and drop all of your music files into that folder. and then drag and drop all of them into itunes. to select all of them at once either hightlight them all with your mouse or if that doesn't work hit shift and highlight them all. once you have them in itunes, connect the ipod with the usb cable and it will bring up a tab on the left that say ipod or whatever click that and customize what you want on the ipod. i hope that made sense love. <3 sara
