i did the cabbage diet, the original version from Poland, and i lost 7 pounds in 6 days. it's an unhealthy diet since you don't eat carbs, but you should only do it for 1 week at a time. And most people say its impossible to keep the weight off, but I prove them wrong.

hi well suddenly ive broken out with a ton of boils. the doctor said it could be glucose levels and that ill need a blood test, if it comes back normal im ok but if it is the glucose, then i need to be treated. What did he mean by "treated" how will he treat the glusocse levels. And what happens if the glucose is more, or less than normal. Thanks in advance.

if you have an excessive amount of glucose(sugar) in your blood then you may have diabetes. Don't start freaking out, just ask your doctor if your curious. "Treatment" is most likely a mdeicine/cream/gel that will either lower your glucose level or help getting rid of the boils.

i've been going out with my boyfriend for almost a year now (a year on the 1st of january) and i love him to death. we broke up for a few weeks before the summer, & he was talking to another girl. once i found out about that, i felt this sudden urge to cheat on him. well maybe it was just because i knew someone was around to cheat on him with. but whatever. one day after school i had this boy ben* come over. ben* is basically a major player, & i didnt know that when i met him.. anyways, this was the 1st time me & ben even talked outside of school & he ended up having sex with me. my boyfriend called my cell phone right after he left & i felt SO guilty. my relationship got back on track with my boyfriend.. & 5 months later, i called up ben & hung out with him again.. and cheated on my boyfriend again. this time it was because he wasn't paying enough attention to me. and here comes the worst part. i hung out wiht my friend carlene & her boyfriend dan the other night.. and dans 21 year old cousin kyle came with us. i ended up on top of him making out wiht him (is that illegal!? i`m only 15)..me & my boyfriend have sex without a condom because we trust eachother & i`m on birth control. i found out a month ago that i have recieved HPV from ben* and now my boyfriend also has it from me. i need to break this habit .. i may not have the best boyfriend.. but i do love him.. & i can't use cheating to get back at him when he upsets me. its just not fair.. & i realize that.. but i need to control myself.

you got yourself in a pretty sticky situation. If you really loved your boyfriend, you wouldn't have cheated on him. you can't keep doing what you're doing. either dump your boyfriend all together, or tell him EVERYTHING. dont leave something out because you think it makes it sound worse. Put yourself in your boyfriends position. what you're doing isn't fair, nor right.

K, well I've liked this guy named Jeremy for about a year and a half now. We are really good friends, but nothing happened between us at all for about a year because he had a girlfriend. I noticed a change right away in our relationship once he broke up with his girlfriend. He flirted with me a lot more, and just gave me more attention.

Anyways, at the beginning of the year, I told him I liked him and he told me he liked me back and thought I was cute. Well, that same weekend he went and made out with 2 girls. Ever since then, he's been known as this big partier. I have gone to a couple of parties with him, and I know that he just wasn't in the mindset for a serious relationship.

Then, as we got even closer in the last few weeks, he told me that he was ready for a gf and that he wanted to hook up with me in my hot tub this weekend. Now, I've always imagined making out with him so of course I was all ready to say yes.

But now, I wonder ... he might just be leading me on again, and telling me he wants a relationship so that I am more willing to fool around with him. I don't want to just be his make out buddy. So -- what do I do? Do I risk being used and just have fun this weekend, or do I tell him that's not such a good idea?

tell him everything you just told us. Tell him that you think he's just leading you on so he can do more with you. If you don't want to be just his make-out buddy, tell him that. If you want to take the risk of possibly being hurt, then make out with him and fool around this weeked. But if you want to have fun and not have your heart broken, talk to him.

I have to do my Christmas shopping soon, but I was wondering something.

I haven't got my boyfriend's present yet, and I have no idea what he got me, so I can't use that as an indicator.

How much should I be spending on him? We've been together for 3 months, but we were friends for a year before that, and we're really close.

you should set up a price range now before he gets the gift, if he already got it, ask him to give you the price range so you could get him something close to the same price as what he got you so it will be fair.

My straightener was stolen at a choir show yesterday, and stupid me forgot to check and see waht brand it was.

It is black on the outside, and has bright blue plates. It was over $100, and I bought it at Carlton Hair International. If anyone has any idea as to what brand it is, please tell me!!

Also, since I am now looking for a new staightener, what kinds do you all use that work well and last? It has to be more expensive than $60. I don't trust anything cheaper.

the straightner i use is remington wet2straight, it's really good, and you can set it on a scale of heating from 1 to 30. it beeps when the straightner is finished heating up to the number of your choice. it's only about $30 too.
and to help keep your hair from being damaged by straighteing and blowdrying it, i suggest you use v05 mircale! mist, heat defense and conditioning spray. (it says all that on the bottle) not only does it keep your hair shiny, but it protects your hair from being fried. i know you asked for over $60, but just becuase one thing is more expensive than the other, doesnt mean it's better. i've learned my lesson with that, and soon you probably will too. but if you insist,
I truly recommend the Maxi Glide and the Mini Glide. The Maxi runs around $75-90 and is worth much more than that. The Mini is a smaller version that takes less time to heat and gets to the shorter hairs better.

Naturally, my hair is kind of curly. Not completely, just a little. Anyways, I have a Corioliss Straightener (it's 100% ceramic), and I'm not getting hte results that I want. The other day, I spent a good hour striaghtening my hair, and since it was raining outside a bit, it got all curly and looked like total crap. I want it to be pin straight. Ok, so I am 13, and I still havent started my period yet. I know its coming up soon, but I dont know what to do about tampons. I am on the swim team, so I know that I will have to use them. All my friends have started and I know that they have figured out the "tampon deal" But, I just dont know how to insert or what. A bajillion people out there have already used these, and I need advice QUICK before time runs out. I dont want to talk to my mom because that is just a little awkward for me. Anyone got any advice???

i've only had my period for less than half a year, actually i have it right now, and i began wearing tampons the second time.
i recomned playtex, the tampons are really good and have different levels of absorption.i first started to wear pads, but there uncomfotorable and always leave me worrying about stains. you should practice wearing tampons by using a mirror, you should lay down on your bed, thats most comftorable. you should open up your vagina by opening the skin flaps so you can see the whole, then gently relax your muscles and slowly slide the tampon in. if you need more help on how to insert it, you should buy a tampax box of tampons and it has a little sheet of paper in the box that has more help. if you will continue to use pads, i suggest you wear two pads at once, for maximum protection, or just get heavy duty pads. you should start practicing to use tampons, and i got the hang of it in about a half an hour. remember though, you should keep tampons in for only 6-8 hours, other wise it clogs your vagina and you can get TSS. with tampons, you don't need to worry about staining anything, and when you put them in right, you won't be able to feel a thing. Also, you need to push the tampon in really deep, otherwise it will hurt.

okk so in health class we're learning about like puberty and what guys and girls go through. So we read this article and after this guy stood up asked to go to the bathroom and he couldn't.. he had to go because he had a bonerr!! It was so gross to me! This kid is like a loser.. and i have to sit next to him. I sound really mean but is there any way to forget about it?? I'm not gunna ask the teacher to move me- i think that would be a little bit dramatic.

i'm assuming you're 10-12 years old, being immature and saying that having a boner is gross. as you get older, you will understand more about it. put yourself in his position. say you guys were sitting on the carpet and you had your period on the carpet and you made a blood spot and he noticed. how embarassed would you be?? and you can't control it either. he can't control a boner, nor can you control your period. there is no real way to get over this, just think if you were him. he was probably embarassed himself. don't say anything to him, just act like you did in class before it happened.
i dont care if you rate this a 1 just because i said you were acting immature. i gave you my opinion and my advice.

no one get freaked out, but is it weird to be curious about how to kill someone? There's this person i really hate, i wish they'd die. I'd never ever kill someone but is is wierd to search and be curious about ways to kill someone? how do i stop?

theres always a first time for everything, i always say. i've thought of killing people and how to do it and how not to get caught. but it's not like i'll ever do it. my mind just wanders. it's normal, believe me. after watching forensic files on tv, it just got me interested. if you're thinking about it 24/7 and can't help it, then that might be a little problem. you can stop by thinking of the consequences if you do kill this person, or even if you mention to anyone that you really want to kill her. just think it over.

i'm not the skinniest person either, but i have some tips for you. after i watched MTV's Made True life: i'm obese, i realized that it doesnt matter if i have a little extra flab. One of the girls in the show was obese and was a struggling model. it showed her going to an audition, and she was the only fat girl there, and she made it. she was pretty AND fat. it is possible.

i don't know where you're from, but a good place to get a nice ring under $10 would be in Tjmaxx, marshalls, or those stalls at the mall. the mall is probably the best place, you should get it at one of those booths that sell jewlery. i would love if my boyfriend got me a rose with a ring inside for christmas, i would be so happy. you should get it for her.

yes it is normal. and yes, most girls periods will always be irregular. i've had mine for about 6 months too, and my period is already regular. every girl is different, sometimes it can skip after two months even if you dont have sex. if you're really concerned, then go see your doctor. but i'm sure he/she will tell you the same thing i told you.

if a girl said no the first time you asked her, then i highly doubt she'll say yes the second time. if i was her and you asked me out and i said no, and then you asked me a second time i'd be annoyed at you, so i wouldn't ask her again. you guys should just remain friends and maybe in a year you could ask her out again, or over the summer, but no sooner than that. unless she flirts with you and shows you she likes you.

ok i've been working at my job for 2 months.

all the girls (four of them) and my boss are extremely nice.

we are going to go out to dinner around christmas time, and we're calling it a xmas party.

so am i supposed to get them something? i dont know them that well because i'm new and we see each other around two times a month.

you should ask your boss if everyones trading gifts, or speak with your coworkers and ask them if they're doing a gift swap, and ask them whats the most and least supposed to be spent on the gift, or the price range. this way you wont be left out, and you know whats going on.
if they are having a christmas swap, then i would suggest you get them something in the price range at bath and body works, they have nice anti-bacterial lotions and pre made gift sets that are sort of expensive, but the hand lotions and candles are about $10-15, so it's ok.
