My mom and I kinda fell apart about a year ago. I thought we had patched things up pretty well but after noticing some of my friends talking to their moms, I realized how bad things I had gotten.

My mom doesn't call to check up on me, she doesn't hug me if I'm crying or if I'm hurt. She merely says "Stop crying." She doesn't say I love you even after I've said it to her, normally she'll just say goodbye. She stopped cooking meals for me and when I have a problem she says its my problem not hers.

Sure, she's not responsible for everything in my life. But I'm a 16yr old girl and sometimes I need my mom :( she just doesn't seem to be there.
I don't know what to say to her to help this out, she seems too blocked off to care. (link)
I wouldn't say your mom doesn't love you. Some people just have a hard way of showing how much they love someone.

Like me, it's very hard for me to show someone how much they mean to me/how much I really do love them. But that doesn't mean I don't love my family/friends. It's just sometimes hard to show/say it.

That might be the issue that your mom is having. What I would do is I'd sit her down and explain to her how you're feeling. Tell her everything, that you feel like she doesn't love you, you feel like she doesn't seem to care about what happens, etc. Just..sit her down, tell her everything.

I can't guarantee it'll work, but it could really help if you really explain things to her.

I hope things work out between your mom and you. :)

15/f, Im going to dye my hair red, my dad has approved..But i dont know what dye to use. I want the most permanent dye you can find..I've been eyeing up MANIC PANIC..I don't know what kind to get, for the manic panic site, ive narrowed it down to two:http://www.manicpanic.biz/ct_PRhge10016.htm
or
http://www.manicpanic.biz/ct_PR309389.htm
If you have any OTHER suggestions, please tell me...And if you dont, just tell me if you think the gel will work better or the cream.

Also, If you have any pictures of your RED hair, i'd like to see them, thanks. (link)
I wouldn't use Manic Panic.
I've heard only TERRIBLE reviews from everyone that has used it.
You want another bright red, or cool-toned red?
I'd definitely go for Special Effects.
Like Manic Panic, Special Effects is also a vegan dye. The only difference is it seems to last so much longer, and I mean a lot longer.
Every review I've read for Special Effects only talks about how long lasting it was, and how great it was.
I'm also speaking from personal experience.
The reds they have are:
Nuclear Red (but beware, this one comes out BRIGHT red but after a while fades to a bright orange)

Blood Red (Which is a very deep red, much like the first one you posted Vampire Red, I think it's called, Blood Red supposedly lasts a lot longer)

Cherry Red (Bright neon, red with pink undertones. Which from what I've heard, fades to pink.)

Devilish (A cool-toned red)

Candy Apple Red (Medium cool-toned red)

Hot Lava (A warm, bright red.)

Those are the colors, and the names, if you go to http://amphigory.com/special_effects_hairdye.html you can click on each different colors for the reds (or any color SFX has, which is a lot) and see customer pictures and read what they have to say about the colors.
And you can order it there, and it's a trustworthy site from my experience.

Im confused IDK what I should do for this new school year..I usally shop at like hot topic for tops and macys for bottoms..but this summer one of my friends were alot of prep clothes and she got alot of guy and me and here are like the same in looks...do guy prefer girls like this....another question I have is
what should I were
scene clothes
or american eagle...clothes (link)
It shouldn't matter.
Fist off, forget the guys that just go out with you because of the way you look.
You need a guy that doesn't care about that. If they don't like you because you're not preppy, then they're not worth it.
You other question, really just forget about all the labels when you go shopping. You see something you like, no matter what you think people will label you, buy it. It's what YOU like. You don't need to follow any label, just buy what you like and mix and match.
You happen to like preppy AND scene clothing? Mix and match with both. You don't have to follow one trend, in fact I advise that you DON'T follow one trend. They're just pointless labels, and they don't matter.
Just buy the clothing you like and feel comfortable in. Don't worry about what others will think. It's really about what you think.

i really wanna put some blue in my hair. not the whole head, just like, underneath so it'll show when its up in a ponytail and when i straighten my hair. but my parents INSIST that i cant. how can i convince them to let me due my hairr???
HEELPP! (link)
Definitely don't whine, as mentioned before.

When I wanted to dye my hair blue (as in, my whole head xD) my mom of course said no. It took some convincing, and she finally allowed me to. So now I have blue hair.

These things should help, they worked for me:
1)You will pay for it.
2)Mention to them about how it's just hair. It's not like you're getting a permanent tattoo or piercing.
3)Bring up the fact that if you just happen to not like it, it's YOUR hair and to let you learn from your mistakes.
4)Ask them when they're in a good mood.
5)Tell them the dye you will use is semi-permanent, and will eventually fade more and more with each wash.
6)Talk to them like an adult.
If they say no, calmly ask why. Don't be like "BUT MOM WHY?! YOU NEVER LET ME DO ANYTHING!" and then storm off.
They'll think you're too immature and for sure won't let you dye your hair.
So be calm, and mature about the entire thing.
And don't tell them, "But everyone else is doing it!"
Usually parents always say no to that.
Always.

Well, I do hope these tips helped. :]

i was just curious how bad it hurts when u get your nose pierced and do you have to go anywhere special to get it done

also how bad does it hurt to get a tattoo and where are the best places to go (link)
How much it hurts depends on your pain tolerance.

You could read stories that people have posted, on all piercings (including nose), about what happens, their experience, how much it generally hurts, etc.
on:
bmezine.com

About where to get it done, search around for a safe place. If the piercing shop isn't clean, or doesn't look safe, don't go there.
It really needs to be a clean reputable place. I can't tell you exact shops, just search around.

And for tattoos, I'm pretty sure it once again depends on your pain tolerance and where you get it.
And the best places to go would once again be a safe, clean, reputable place. Shop around, make sure you like the place you're going. You don't want them to screw up a tattoo, you want it to be safe and clean, etc. So just look around your town or somewhere close for a good place.

I listen to metal and so on. Heavy and loud :)
I was wondering what's a style where I can still wear my band shirts, but also have a touch of femininity in my style also with a touch of uniquness.
I've been trying different things, but nothing looks right :( (link)
You can always cut up your band shirts, make them tighter like a girls shirt. You could cut it up to make it like a halter-top, etc.
That always makes it more feminine, but you're still wearing your band shirt.
You can always pair it with a cute skirt, but if you feel like wearing a skirt is too girly, pair the skirt with fishnets or funky tights and a pair of boots.
:l
Or skinny jeans, like everyone else said.
Or just an amazing pair of jeans, skinny or not.
Just make sure YOU are comfortable. If you're not comfortable, then don't wear it. :)

i was on jacks mannequins myspace, and i saw there was a concert for august 28th. i want to go really bad. how do i get the tickets? (link)
On their myspace it should say where they're playing.
Look up the name of the venue, along with the city you live in to make sure it's the right venue.
And usually there will be a website for it and you should be able to buy tickets for the certain date.
Or maybe try ticketmaster.com?

My mom wont let me wear makeup because she wants me to wait until im 16 like she had to do but like im pretty much old enough to wear makeup . basically every single girl in mah school wears makeup . and i ask her and shes like no your gunnah start wearing makeup when your 16 like i had to do . i dont get her at all . every summah while im in the Dominican Republic mah cousin does mah makeup and when my mom sees me with makeup on shes like omg you look so cute . and then i ask her and shes still says no and i get so maddd . >=[ (link)
When I started wearing makeup, I started out slowly.
I just asked my mom if I could wear mascara and then went from there.
Maybe just tell her you just want to wear some mascara, and then later on ask if for special occasions you can wear eyeliner/eyeshadow (whatever you want)?
And then slowly, you could wear a tiny bit of eyeliner/eyeshadow along with your mascara.
I mean, as they say 'less is more' and you don't want to go out looking like a cheap whore.
So just start out slowly with makeup.

dyed my hair purple and i meant to dye just strands of it but im an IDIOT and my hair is curly so wen it dryed out straight n shit I HAD ENDED UP DYING MY WHOLE HEAD!!!!!!!!

it looks HORRIBLE and idk what to do!!!!!! i wana dye it over again but idk what color please please help!

ps - im originaly dirty blond. HELP! (link)
To get that purple out you'll have to bleach it.
I've recently dyed my entire head blue.
I like it...but (this will sound terrible) I'm so bored of it.
It's not that I hate it, I'm just...bored.
But I'm definitely not going to touch my hair myself, because I'll ruin it.
So I'm going to wait until I can set up an appointment with my stylist and get this color bleached out and put another color on.
And that's what I advise you to do. Just lay low for a few days, if you have to go out and you really hate it, wear a hat.
But really, just set up an appointment with your stylist.
Do NOT do it yourself unless you or someone else is experienced in bleaching and coloring hair.

I have a friend who constantly needs attention. It was my friends birthday, but she made everyone pay attention to her. She thinks she's above everyone, and is 'different' just to be 'different', rather than being herself completely. I know thats a complicated concept. Anyway, the other day she was being mad annoying and i told her to be quiet and she blew up on me. She just recently told me how boring I am, so I think its my turn to tell her how attention-seeking she can be. Any suggestion? (link)
Just confront her about the whole situation.
Sit her down, and talk to her and tell her everything that you're feeling about her.
And if she doesn't like it, or tries to argue with you, just forget about her.
She's not worth it, because she doesn't deserve ALL the attention.
But some people truly believe they do, and there isn't much you can do.

lately with summer break, ive had alot of free time to just sit around and do nothing. while im sitting around doing nothing i over analyze things and worry about things, way too much. i know im doing it but i cant really make myself stop. well the problem is, ive been having sort of mini anxiety attacks from it, but lately ive been having these weird chest pains, like right where my heart is. it only lasts like 15 mins, but is that from anxiety or is it something worse that i should be concerned about? (link)
I over analyze EVERYTHING, also. It can get really bad, and for me, it was just that I had horrible anxiety problems.
The only thing that seemed to work for me was going to a therapist.
But the weird chest pains could be something completely different. But it may not be. Either way, you should set up an appointment with your doctor and get it checked out.
Even if it's nothing to worry about, you could go to the therapist or get pills like the other person said and it would help out your anxiety/stress. :)

I'm getting braces and i want to be prepared b/c my friend told me that they hurt the second day that i get them on. And i want to know what i should do if they start to hurt! (link)
I have braces. And the first day I got them, my teeth were very sensitive and for the first week all I could eat was soup. :/
They weren't rubbing up against my lip, and nothing was poking me, so I didn't need the wax.
But you might need wax, so ask your orthodontist if he/she could give you some, or you could just go to a local drug store and buy some.
So have wax, soup (or any soft food), Tylenol, and any other things you think you'll need ready.
And also, every time I get the tightened it feels like (at least for me) the first week I got them on. :P
So maybe have soft foods at your house when you get them tightened.

i heard this song last night.. and all i can remember from it is i guess part of the chorus, and it was like "reach out and touch face/faith"? and they repeated that alot. it was a really rock-ish song on a rock/alternative/metal station. google didnt give me anything that it could have been. anyone know this song? (link)
It could have been Marilyn Manson's cover of Personal Jesus.
But the original song is by Depeche Mode, also titled Personal Jesus.

okaaay so i really want to meet someone online. that is the same age as me [sixteen] and will be literally my best friend. because a few of my friends and people i know have people like this, from all over the world, and i dont know how they met them. adding random people on myspace is not working. i want someone that is kinda like me too, and will let me tell them my secrets and stuff. is there some website like um, eharmony haha [nooot that though] but like is for teens wanting to just meet friends that they have things in common with, THAT IS NOT A SCAM and where i can actually find NORMAL people not a bunch of pervs or freaky loners...thanksss (link)
This WILL sound childish...but neopets.com
I know most people think it's a kids site, and kids do go on it, but it was originally made for bored college kids.
And if you go on the newbie boards (which really isn't a n00b board) you will find most of the people range from age 12-20.
Most people there I find are 13,15,16.
There are all different types of people, but most are nice.
I've met some of the greatest people on there that I've been talking to online for a little over two years.
But obviously, when you first talk to someone don't give out any personal info blah blah.
But I do recommend it.

is there a website for guys or emo people to just talk about things about life and relatations thanks xp (link)
vampirefreaks.com
Just like everyone else said.

But when you really get onto the message boards, like Random Thoughts, The Lounge, etc. you realize not many emo/scene people go out to there.
Of course, there are a few.
But if you look through "Highest Rated Guys" or the girls, or new people, you can find some people who have the emo look.
But I don't see /a ton/ on the message boards.
And the ones I do, don't seem to become a "regular".
But there are some EXTREMELY nice people on there and I definitely recommend it.
But sometimes, random perverts will comment you saying stupid things.
Just ignore them. xP

Hello. I am going to a Dave Matthews Band concert on Friday, and I was just wondering what I could do to prepare. The weather says it is going to be 84 and sunny, so I know lots of water, and probably some food. My boyfriend wants to get there early, do you know any ideas on what we can do while we wait, and possibly how much money I should bring? Thank you so much in advance. (link)
Wear something comfortable, definitely.
If you're going to buy a t-shirt do bring at least 20 dollars.
Every concert I've been to, that's how much a shirt cost.
If you want more, bring 30-40 dollars, depending on what you want.
Bring sunscreen, water, anymore drinks you'd think you would like, a lunch, etc.
For me, before I really get out to the line, if it's 7:00-8:00 when the doors open, I sit in the car and have a quick dinner and just listen to music and talk to whoever is going to the concert with me.
But if you're getting there early enough that you want lunch, you could stop for lunch on the way, or pack something and eat it in the car before going out to the line so you don't just stand there.
While in the line, you could just play random kid games like I Spy, or anything along those lines.
Haha.
Or like the other person suggested, bring water guns.
It's an easy way to stay cool while having fun.
Hope this helped. :]

in the movie the strangers. i didnt understand the ending how she was still living after they like were stabbing her. and like at the begining, whose voice was it calling 911? (link)
I don't remember the movie enough to remember who was calling 911, I don't even remember anyone calling it, so I have no idea what you're talking about.
Sorry.

BUT, the reason she could still be alive is because they didn't stab her in the heart.

If my memory serves me correctly, they stabbed her in the stomach or something.
If they really missed anything important, she could live.
I really just guess you need to wait for the sequel to know what happened.
If they make one, that is.

What is it called when you don't like anyone. Like you don't like girls or boys. There's a specific word for it. I know it's really random; but I really need to know.

Thanks in advance (link)
You mean like you don't think you'll ever be in a relationship with them or want to?
I think asexual is the term.

okk. soo. this summer i wanna dye my hair like a really light blonde. but i cant bleach it cause my mom is like, "bleach blondes run around like little whores!!" haha so thats out of the question. so can someone get me some rad pictures of medium to long scene hair in like, a light-ish blonde color?? and i also need some tips on how to cut scene hair at home cause whenever i get it professionally done they always end up fucking it up and i suckk at itt so please heelp!! thx x1,000,000

peacee (link)
Scene hair, without all the teasing and backcombing, is very simple.

Most are just some short choppy layers, but if your hair is not straight, I'd recommend straightening it.

To get the real scene hair, you'll need to tease and backcomb. If your stylist messes that up a lot, just ask for short choppy layers and then do the rest yourself.

Here's a tutorial on youtube on how to achieve scene hair;
http://youtube.com/watch?v=mNKuTKGUZeg&feature=related

And as for pictures go to madradhair.com
You can find many scene hair pictures for the color you'd like.

How do you dye your hair with Kool-aid? (link)
You just put it in and leave it in for a while.

But I really don't recommend it.
It doesn't turn out bright, doesn't last, and just doesn't look good.

You'd be better off just dying your hair with a semi-permanent dye.
But if you're not ready for that kind of commitment (Because some can last long), then I guess Kool-Aid would be okay, but your hair has to be very light.
