i suck at styling my hair, i try curling it and it never works, what are some ways that i can make it actually stay ? (link)

after you get out of the shower let it sit for about 5 min. then put some strong hold gel in it and scrunch it. blow dry it half way, still doing to scrunching motion. then put more gel in it and scrunch it and blow dry it the rest.
it's best to do it before you sleep, do you can sleep on it and it'll go down some.
if you are talking about curling with an iron, do it in the morning or before you go out.
curl it in layers spraying it with hairspray as you go. when you are all done you should put another spray of strong hold hairspray through you head shaking it.

work out. a lot. every day for about 1 hour and 1/2. (or as long as you can). run, jog, do crunches and any other excersizes. it would be good to join a gym. also if you are on a sports team, that would help.
also eat very healthy. no junk food, fruits veggies and have dairy. only 3 meals a day maybe one snack.
im not sure if you can loose 10, but that would most deff. help.

f/15 me and my boyfriend never do anything. i mean, we hang out, but its always at his house and we just lay around and watch movies. i've asked him to the movies a few times, but he always has an excuse. do you have any other ideas? thanks. (link)

shopping might be boring for him, but maybe since summer is coming up .. bathingsuit shopping would be fun with him? if you are happy with your body you and him could go to some shop and you could try on bathingsuits for him.. im sure he'd like that.
maybe just walking somewhere? like around a park or playing a one on one sport.
i dont know where you live but if you live around the beach or a lake go there and chill
just get creative. maybe one night wheny ou are at his house you can be like .. we always go to eachother's house. lets go somewhere else for a change tomorrow (or whenever)

in the class you have together just flirt with him alot. just about radom things. or since you dont know him well ask him about radom things until you find osmething you can both talk about. even if it is about how much you hate a class.
maybe you and your girl friend and this guy can go hang out some time? so you will be able to hang out outside of school and it wouldnt be awkward.

maybe you could do stuff when an all boys school.. like do school things together. or maybe if you join some kind of team, like a coed soccer team, or a dance team you can either meet other girls that know guys or other guys.
or if you see a cutie in the mall or something just go up to him and start to flirt!

I want to become friends with a girl in my grade but I don't know her very well. We have some friends in common but she isn't in any of my classes so whenever I try to talk to her it's really awkward. What should I do or say to become friends with her? Also the friends we have in common aren't like my best friends, but good ones. you should find a friend that you are good friends with and that they are good friends with and be like "lets all hang out"
or you could have a party, or a small get together and invite the people you are both friends with.
but it would be really awesome for you just to approach this girl and be like hey, whats up? cause it'll show that you arent shy and that you'd be a great friend to have!

I'm 5'8, 158 pounds, 15 years old, not active at all.
On this coming monday, im starting a diet which will hopefully help me lose 1 or 2 pounds a week, but I need to know if it will work. Here is my daily plan:
Breakfast: Honey bunches of oats cereal, 1% Milk
Lunch: Fruit salad, water
Supper: Anything my mom makes (healthy)
I will also be running on the treadmill for about 20 minutes at 4m/h. I've sort of been using the calorie-counting method.
Anyways, will I lose weight with this, or is it a waste of time? What can I change?

im not too sure this is really healthy.
you need iron, protien and some carbs and calories in there. that just makes a healthy diet. you should drink a lot of water and some milk.
then work out more then just 20 min. a day. maybe 45 min? at the least.
but you dont need to flip out because this seems really hard. you shouldnt dive right into it and cut out 2/3 of the food you are eatting and work out for 45 min a day. you should start slowly. maybe stop eatting all of those extra snacks, then once you have that down start working on the proportion thing.
as for the working out thing, i'd start with 30 min. then after a week or so go up to 35 min. then 40 and then 45 .. and so on.
you can do more then just run. you can do crunches and maybe if you and a gym near by, join that.

I've been losing alot of hair lately, mainly when I take a shower/bath there is a large amount of hair on top of the drain and when ever I run my hand though my hair there is always a few strands.
so I was wondering if its because of bad nutrition, dying my hair, or from straighting it.
I've died my hair many times before just this time its black. So maybe I'm just seeing all the hair now because its black and not the light brown it was before.
I'm vegan so I know I don't get enough calcium or protein ( I take a multivitamin for everything else ).
So could my hair loss be because of either those three things or some other reason? (link)

it's probably all three of those things plus the weather.
i lose my hair like crazy during the end of winter start of spring. i dont know why. but it just happens.
you said your are a veggie, and you take pills. that's good. just make sure your getting enough of protien. that's good to help your hair stay in.
dying your hair, it's horrible for your hair. but i know we all do it. so maybe you can lay off of that for a while?
straighting your hair, i do it everyday and im sure that's half the reason why my hair is bad.
so i'd take some extra protien pills, stop dying it, and maybe do other stuff that straighting it a lot?
if it continues, i'd talk to your doctor about it!

Hey. I've been a veggietarian for nine months now, and I've changed so much. I am so malnurished and I'm having like a million mental break downs. I've become really sad and angry. I wanted to stop being a veggie but its so hard! I wont eat meat or i'll start like crying...well not really but ill feel really sad and become moody. im also really malnaurished cause im allergic to a lot and cause im kosher. i need advise from a veggie or someone who once was one. thanx to anyone who can help! by the way...incase you wanna like address me in ur note back my names joey f/! thanx!!

I've been a veggie for five years now.
On my fourth year i started to act like you are. because i wasnt eatting enough of protien and iron. i got really low iron and i would sleep all the time. i'd go to sleep from the time i got home (3) until 7, did homework showered and maybe ate then went back to sleep around 9 and slepted until 7 the next day. not healthy at all.
i wasnt getting any excersize, so i should have been gaining weight. but i was losing it like crazy. i think i went from 115 to 100 in a month?
i would get theses massive mood swings and horrible toughts in my head. and it was just so crazy.
i went to my doctors and they sent me to get my blood taken. it found out that i was anemia. Anemia occurs when your blood doesn't have enough hemoglobin. Hemoglobin is a protein in your red blood cells that carries oxygen from your lungs to the rest of your body. My iron level was lower then it should be. i think it should be no lower the 14, mine was 2. so i was pretty unhealthy.
They put me on iron pills 3 times a day, and i had to eat certain foods for about 6 months. and now i can say i truely feel better. i mean, i still have the break downs, but not as much. i still sleep, not as much.
so i'd go talk to your doctor, as soon as possible. in my case, it was bad. and if you get it under controll now, it wont turn out like mine. The doctor will probably tell you to start eatting meat again. and you dont have to. there are so many things out there that you can take instead of meat.

Yes, they do. boxers and wrestlers use them a lot when you have to be a certain weight.
there is 2 types.
rooms that you can go sit in
then a sauna suit.
the suit you can put on and go work out or just sit and lose weight.
and the room is just a room that you sit in.
You lose weight by sweating off the pounds. Saunas expel water and do not necessarily expel fat deposits. Also, any weight lost through a sauna room/suit will be regained quickly. Therefore they are not a permanent weight loss solution.

k so this morning i missed the bus and my mom was sooo pissed and she brought me into school late and before that she called my dad and was like she is in so much trouble and then she told me i was doing nothing but cleaning for the whole weekend. i hadd really amazing plans.... movies sleepover friends and more. my mom is not home yet, usually if i get grounded before like wednesday my mom forgets but its thursday!! i know this is bad of me but what can i do to make my mom forget that she grounded me or just do something that will make her let me go??? i didnt ask her yet so pleasee!!! help me asap!!! thankss (link)

don't you hate when your parents do this? it always happens to me. I’d talk to one of your parents. what ever one you think will give in the easiest. then have them talk to the other one.
just say "i am very sorry for this morning. i know it was very irresponsible and I should be punished. But I am normally a good child and I think that you are being a little hard on me. I had some amazing plans. what if I am just grounded for Friday night only,(you’d rather give up one night then the whole weekend..right?)and if this happens again you can ground me for a whole week. I am going to start act more responsible. I promise.”

i have tiny red bump on my arms like all over! you don't really notice them that much unless you look close and they are gross or anything, there just there and they bother me. im really tan so most people never see. alot of people i know have them on there upper arms like on the part of there skin that faces out, like if you put your hand on your shoulder and slide down. i have some there too! if you know what this is or how to get rid of it i would be SO happy! thanks (link)

i'm not really sure what they are called, but i have them aswell. you can go to a doctor, and they will most likely know.
i just use zest soap. it works well. you just wash your arm (body) with it everytime you shower, and then with in 7 days it clears up.

The over the counter pills contain Ephedra. And that can cause a possibility of stroke, increased heart rate and blood pressure, seizures or heart attack. And you are young, you could become dependent on them and always have to take them and when you don't take them you could have strange side effects.
but if you really want to take them, then talk to your doctor.
Instead of pills maybe you could just try working out twices as much and cutting out all junk food?

Im 13 and weigh 105lbs. I want to lose weight so i started to cut back on junk and replaced it with healthy stuff like apples and crap. no more soda or juice just water and i started to work out and run. When i first started to lose weight i weighted about 115 so as you can tell i losed weight, but i want to go more. i wasnt losing any thing for a while so i started using diet pills. is that bad? if so how can i lose those 5 nagging pounds? diet pills are horrible. just plainly bad. please stop taking them.
just continue what you are already doing. eatting good, and drinking a lot of water. if your body thinks it needs to lose that last 5 pounds, it will. but from what you're telling me i dont think it does. i think you should just eat healthy and keep doing that. excersize some maybe? but diet pills are horrible

for your first question, i'd talk to your doctor about it. they can give you some really good stuff. Ban works really well. too.
also, when you get out of the shower, if you put baby powder on your underarms, that works too.
2) im not really sure, to tell you the honest truth. you could run and that will make the fat muscel, and they wouldnt jiggle when you walk, but you can watch what you eat, so your legs dont get bigger.
