I used to cut. For three full years. It wasn't the same reason each time, mainly because I cannot cope with things I suppose. However most people don't believe I used to cut cause I didn't scar which is a good thing. I live in the U.S. and I began in 5th grade so about 10 or 11 and continued untill early 7th grade, so untill I was thirteen.

I agree with the person below me. It depends on why you would need to lie. Is it just because your parents disapprove of him? If so, why? Age, Location, Job, Friends, Lifestyle? Your parents would disapprove because of a reason and if they don't have one. Then just simply lie, no lieings not okay but if you really dig the guy then go for it.

I watched this movie recently about aids, called girl,positive...And i was just wonering if a woman gets HIV/AIDS and she gets pregnant and has the baby, does the baby automatically get aids? Because i know you can get it from vaginal fluid, semen, breast milk and blood. But if you get pregnant is that an automatic disease for the baby? Thanks
No it does not automatically become a diesease for the baby. It can by the ways you mentioned if the mother is responsible she'll find other ways to feed the baby and maybe have a C-Section to prevent it.

my hair is fried really bad. it wasn't too bad then my friend did my hair for winter ball, tons of heat and hair spray = not good mix for hair. so now it's dry and looks horrible straight. it looked good straight before and i can't not straighten it because it dries naturally sooo weird and poofy. seriously if i didn't have to straighten it i wouldn't, i'd kill for naturally straight/curly hair! anyways what can i do to fix my fried hair? what are some styles i should try without straightening?
i scrunch it sometimes but i don't want to do that everydayyy.

So anywayz, here's the thing...I like this guy, but I don't think he likes me back. Well he's 1 of those shy guys so it's really hard to tell. A bikini-wax is where they wax just the outer edges so no hair pops out in bathing suits and such. Yes, there are full vagina waxes, I have never had one but they would most likely be very painful and slightly embarassing.

I went to the doctor a few days ago & they found this lump on the side of my knee. They doctor said he thought it was some type of cyst that they could either remove or give me some type of shot, but I'm having an MRI wednesday just to make sure.
I don't get it, though. How can a shot get rid of it? & I run track starting in a week or so. If they do surgery, does that mean I can't run track?
You probably won't be able to right away depending on when you get the surgery and when track starts. Talk to the coach and the doctor though.

My ex boyfriend and my best friend , lets name him Tim so i don't somehow get him in trouble. Tim and I are best friends and he dumped me because there was all this ____ going on with his dad and there still is. His life is so screwed up and i feel like venting about it.
Alright. Tim's mom left when he was four. Timwon't tell me what happened other than "it was complicated" and that she lives in california. He lives in a two family home across town. His (single) dad [his name is Paul ] lives in the bottom appartment and his grandparents and aunt and him live in the top appartment. I've been close with Tim and his family for a year and a half or so, we dated for eight months.
Tim 's dad had been in a coma when i first met Tim in 8th grade in mathclass. Apparently his dad's lungs filled with fluid resulting in almost dying and he was in a coma for two months and i had no idea because Tim and i weren't incredibly close at the time. we just talked online a bit and in mathclass. Anyways, so Tim's dad has been on oxygen due to his lung issues which resulted in a coma for the past... idk i'd say 2 1/2 years and he's doing far better now. and he rarely needs to use oxygen. However, for the past year or so, He's pretty much been hanging out with a rotton croud of druggies and convicts and such. Tim and His father aren't very close anymore due to his dad changing in a bad way. Tim feels as if his dad cares more about being with these druggies and scumbags than being with his son. One time, this druggy lady his dad is friends with, went over his house and Paul promiced Tim that they'd watch a movie together, His dad kicked Tim out because he wanted to get laid by this scumbag lady. Tim cried and his dad called him a pussy. {god im like crying now} and tim also admitted to me that he sometimes crys himself to sleep [and he's a pretty masculine guy]
Paul is always speeding over 120 mph on the highway because it's "FUN" and meracoulously he hasn't been getting any speeding tickets. Why? because Tim's uncle BOB who is a pretty reputable guy in town, found out that his brother Paul (Tim 'sdad) is being watched by the cops. Also apparently the cops have reason to believe that Paul is dealing and they are looking to do a drugbust in the near future at Tim's dad's appartment.
over all, Tim's life is so ____ing screwed up and I love him so much and he knows that I still love him. I wish there was something, ANYTHING i could do to ease all this ____ on him. He's my best friend and he cares about me more than anyone. He's always looking out for me. I feel so Helpless. I mean i'm giving him support telling him that i'm here for him and all, however there's really nothing i can do and its killing me!

dont max out a credit card at 18. take out loans. howeverrr if your looking into just in emergencies not to buy all your books then go with a company that you know. ask your parents which company they have, they will be more than glad to tell you which ones are good. also make sure its got everything you need. i cant really help you im only 13 but yeah haa. i would not do it though credit cards are evil [:
