My cousin/best friend is basically giving up on life. I had her join an after school activity with me but then she quit. Then she said shes just gonna stop working well in school and not worry about anything anymore. This is basically because of her peers and family. People think shes a pothead, and i siad "well maybe because you put on your myspace you smoke pot when you really dont" and her sister tells her shes a screw up and doesnt deserve to be on this planet. What can I do to help my cousin out and turn her back to normal and if not better? (link)

no one should give up on life! you are put here for a reason and no one is a screw up no matter what anyone says she's not. you just need to make her feel wanted. go through old scrap books or photo albums and show her all the good times ya'll use to have. as well as that help her realize that she should focus on school because without and education you wont get very far in life. and if she is smoking pot then help her get help that what you are ther for is to look out for each other! just help her the best way that you can she need you right now. and you never turn your back on family they need you and it's obvious that she needs you. good luck i hope that things work out for you.=)

well sometime we don't believe people that tell us we are pretty and have a nice figure. but (as corny as it sounds) look in the mirror every morning and tell yourself "i am beautiful" and "i know i look good" think positive and don't put yourself down. don't be so hard on yourself i'm sure you are beautiful and have no reason to worry. just remember think positive about your self..

cutting is addicting and really hard to stop but your only hurting yourself physically! i think that you should tell you parents and or a trusted adult. they can help you get help. it will be the best thing that you can do for yourself and if you get help for yourself you will be able to take care if the prolbem. slowly but surly. things like that take time but help is avaliable. take care of yourself. hope this helped

if it was a mistake and you actually told him he should give you some credit! atleast you told him most girls wont tell the man they are with. but he is probably just hurt and dosen't know how to deal with it. just talk to him and try to explian to him how it happened and explain that it was an accident. you didn't mean it and it wont happen again! good luck with your man girl!

the prolbem is that you are thirteen and having sex. no thirteen year old should be having sex! at all. do you know the that you should only give yourself away when you are in love and it not just for "fun" chances are that you aren't going to be with him for the rest of your life. but you should sit down and talk to your dad and give him a real good explation. sorry that really all i can think of to say.

what you should do is find out if you are pregnant and then if you are tell them, if you don't tell them and you and you are and don't get the care that you need for you and your baby you will probably end up in the same place i was in a year ago.i ended up miscarrying at 3 months. it literally killed me i told my parents when it was to late i should have told them sooner. but if you are tell you parents so you can decide what you are going to do. that way you will not have togo through all the surgery and pain pills.. i wish you the best and good luck

it dosen't really mean you are pregnant! you might just be late for any reason so don't worry to much just get on birth control and get you boyfriend to wear a rubber. protect yourself. but what you need to do now is either goto a clinic near you or get a pregnancy test and find out if you are or not and if you are do what you gotta do. because it only takes that one time. i wish you nothing but the best though.
