I'm a college sophomore, music ed major (all of the academics-relationship-extracurriculars-applying to college-switching your major-stuff), a musician, and a hardcore music fanatic. I am very quirky. I love Disney movies. I love giving advice. I also love reading, writing, movies, music, computers, piano, etc etc. I'm very honest, up front, and even blunt about some things. I'm pretty opinionated, but I know when to shut up. I like playing football and watching PSU football, as well as basketball, volleyball, and baseball in general. Sorry to be a biznatch here, bucko, but some stuff is my business. It's just like the boyfriend stuff that I got asked about before- real life and internet life are two different things. I listen to Simple Plan everynight, Im obsessed iwth them! GOSH! How can I get the entire United States to convert over to the metric system? We're like the only country that uses idiotic "standard" units of measurement that make no sense, it costs our companies money and it's annoying to learn about two systems in school. We already tried to switch to metric once and it wasn't succesful. We in the US absolutely hate change and it would never work.

My period has been regular as day and night since I started having it, and it was a week late the last time I was scheduled to have it. Of course I was freaking out because I'm a virgin too, but it was late because I had changed my diet and was extremely stressed. If you have been sick enough that you haven't been eating normally, that could have thrown your body off a bit. It'll change for things like not enough sleep and stress, too, even though it seems like sometimes it comes late just to spite you. :-P If you just started getting your periods you might just skip it altogether, but if you've had it for a while and it still doesn't come, talk to a school nurse or doctor about it.

I've known this boy since the 4th grade. We are two years apart. We were together for 2 years. He was normal but now he is a total freak and disaster! Recently he's been stalking me, and my friends. Like he'll talk to my friends and tell them lies that I don't like. And he almost punched me and grabbed my arm so hard it had red marks on it. Durring our relationship he called me a slut for going to a dance with one of my good friends which is now my boyfriend. But yet, durring our relationship, on his b-day he played spin the bottle with all of my friends and kissed all of them, and my best friend, and my best friends mom. So, all together he's cheated on me, abused me, and stalked me, lied to me, used me, and ruined my life and my dignity. What should I do?

Anyway, this guy DOES sound like an abusive creep and you don't deserve to be treated that way. If his maltreatment continues or you are feeling any repercussions of his treatment, I urge you to seek help from any trusted adult, like a teacher, your parents, a clergyperson, or a guidance counselor. You don't deserve to be treated like crap... Stand up to this whacko.

Excuse me? You posted a question on this site expecting advice and you got ten responses.... whether you followed any of the advice or not was purely your decision. Don't blame us for your choices, because only one person can make them for you, and that person IS you. Like I said, if you were good at Spanish you should stay with that; if not, you could hightail it to acting. Choosing to stay in Spanish was strictly your decision, and nobody was making you listen to a bunch of random people on the internet.
So, in short, you have nobody to blame but yourself. Good luck in Spanish and post homework help questions if you need them.

Having the guts enough to run in front of the whole school and losing in front of the school are two different things. If you did happen to lose and someone made fun of you, they didn't even have the balls enough to run at all, so you're already a step ahead of them.

If you're good at Spanish, stick with it, because having knowledge of Spanish will help you in almost any career INCLUDING acting. If you stink at it (like me, heh), play to your strengths and go for drama classes.

Everyone has a tendency to check out their "competition", so it's probably just normal that you're looking at these girls. We all want to improve things about ourselves and one way of figuring out what we want to improve is "checking out" what other people have got.
A lot of people do this but don't notice it.
At least, that's the way I look at the whole situation. I think you're still straight. Don't worry too much about it, you'll figure it out in time.

I know this may sound very stupid, and I knwo there's nothign us girls can do about it...but just let me vent...
Am I the only one who thinks it's irritationg that only girls go through periods, having the baby (even though its a blessing, but it hurts), and they are the one's who are mostly aboused by men adn get made fun of sometimes for doing certain things that men are usually known for doing most of the time, even thuogh women can too. It just makes me so mad, becasue the boys rub it in our faces and the only thing that hurts them is when they get hit in the wrong place. I'm sorry this is just stupid and I don't have anything against the males about this but I just wanted to get everything out and see if I'm the only one who feels this way.
