I'm getting blonde high lights next week. I know what shade of blonde to get, but I don't know what it's called. im going in to my sophmore year and we got our schedules yesterday. last year i got in a big fight w/ one of my best guy friends, he blocked me on aim and swore hed never speak to me again (the fight was over something stupid that makes absolutely no sense so im not really mad at him) anyways, i was talking to some of my friends and they told me that hes in my chemestry class. what do i do? i have about 3 other friends that i kno of in that class so its not like ill be forced to speak to him but do you think i should say anything to him? or just let him stay mad at me. i hate that we arent talking weve known each other since 6th grade! thanks so much

Dont worry!
He will want to talk to you.
Thats what always happens with me.
They just need time to think about stuff.
So, just leave him be. He is going to talk to you evantually. He's not going to hate you, especially since you guys have been friends for soo long.
So just go on with your life. Soon, he will be part of it - again!

I lose my temper a lot when i am babysitting. I am making good money, but this girl is so annoying. I dont get that mean, but I just want to tell her to SHUT UP. I try to be nice and act interested in what she is saying, but she drives me crazy!

No, your not a bad babysitter. You are actually pretty darn amazing on what I'm reading. If that was me - I would of told her to be quiet already. (Which isn't the way to solve things) At least you were trying to act interested.
By the way, how old is this girl? If she is under 6 - she is acting like a kid. They misbehave, you can't punish them.
If she isn't under 6 - then she has some self-control issues. You might want to speak to her parents about that!

how do you chose between two guys. both like you. you like them both. one is a little more extreme then the other. a little more out there. how do you chose. i dont want to make the wrong decision.

Just the other week, this problem was happening to me. And I was asking people for their opinion, just like you are!

Learn from me. This is exactly what I did.
-Take a sheet of paper, one side write his name and on the other write the other guys name.
-Then under that on both sides write 'PROS' & 'CONS'.
-Start listing the Pros & Cons of each boy &

Whoever ended up having the least amount of cons wins your heart over! This works - trust me.

I have acne near my cheeks. Nowhere else I guess. How do I get rid of it? It's been there for months. I tried proactive, I AGREE it works but I can no longer afford it! So if anyone can give me tips..

I haven't had a clear face since 5th grade

or since I had proactive.

I'm going into 10th grade. I want a clearer face.
I don't touch my face, I wash my hands. I don't pick or pop my pimples. I don't pile up acne products anymore. There is no foundation [makeup stuff] that matches my skin color :\

So any tips for me?

Products that work?
My skin is combination.

My friends have really good skin and have a habit of running that in my face. It's getting annoying.

I do realize you can get acne from being on your period. But it piles up with the old acne and yeah.. Not something I want people to look at.

My advice to you is to start using Clean & Clear. VERY AFFORDABLE!
I always use mositurizers & cleansers.
Whenever I start having pimples show up around my nose I do this twice a day [when I wake up & when I go to bed]
But my acne isn't acne acne..its like 2 pimples & thats it. So I wouldn't suggest using it the way I use it.
Try this instead:
But in Clean & Clear their is something called AcneTreatments.

Once you find some that you like & think they will work. Go to Target [thats where I get mine] or Walmart etc.

I think my small boxer/pit has been stung by a hornet. He went after one on the porch yesterday and this morning there was a big raised bump on his face. I don't know what to do, should I try to find the stinger or call the vet, or just leave it alone. I didn't know if because it swelled it meant he was allergic or what?

You need to bring your boxer/pit to the vet - just in case.

First of all buying Photoshop ONLINE is around $400.00 [sometimes more]

If you go to COSTCO, you can get it for $80.00 [and let me tell you, it works just as good as the regular one!]

I would recommend you going to Costco & buying the Adboe Photoshop 7 verison! :D

okay so heres the deal me & my hole family was saposed to go to NYC over the weekend. i got wicked excited and stuff but then my parents got in a huge fight and arent talking to eachother. i was really excited to go but now we arent going at all. my dad wont talk to anyone but my younger sister and he is being a huge jerk. but the thing is everytime we get ready and stuff to go on a vacation my mom&dad get in a fight and we dont go. i really dont know what to do because i really wanted to go. i know it isnt always about me sometimes but i was so excited and now we arent going at all. my dad is also being a HUGE jerk to my hole family and wont say sorry or anything to anyone. my mom said until he stops acting like a jerk we arent going.

well anyways my question is should i just forget about the hole NYC thing completely or hang on and hope they will make up. i will rate high if its good advice =]

I am very sorry to hear that!
I think you guys should just leave him alone and let him cool down. Don't talk to him, don't be around him - he will figure out theirs something wrong. He will want to talk to you guys. & when he does - forgive him. Don't mess around with him until he's ready to forgive all of you. Violence won't solve anything and fighting with people you love - wont solve problems. It will just make things worse and worse.

So just let him be in his little corner all grumpy. He will want to go to NYC once he realizes he's messed up the whole family vacation!

Just give him time & he will come across! :D

hey! well i saw your columm and i read that you dance so i thought i might ask you a question and see if you could help me out. anyways.
so i have been dancing since i was 2 or 3. and out of those years i have taken ballet about 4 times. i wanted to take pointe next year but im not sure if im ready. and even if i am i dont know if my mom would ever go for it. so my question is do you think i would be ready and if so any ideas on how to convince my mom? if you cant help me out it is compleatley fine i just had to try. so thanks

I've done ballet for 11 years.
& I'm still not fully ready for pointe.

Pointe also ruins your feet.
You don't want to rush something your not ready for - espeically pointe.

I can't determine whether your ready for pointe or not. The other thing I could suggest is, asking your teacher if your ankles are strong enough. If she says yes, then your ready. If she says, no, just take more ballet classes to improve & work hard on bar & etc.

If your teacher said your ready, this is what I would suggest you tell your mom.
[first of all pointe shoes are no cheap (around 80 dollars)]
Tell her you really really really want to do pointe!
Be like, I promise to work really hard in pointe and I won't quit or disappoint you & etc.

hmm i would suggest singing a slow pop song.
like 'because of you' by kelly clarkson.
or any song by kelly clarkson is good.
or what about 'somewhere over the rainbow'

main point - if you sang a slow pop song you would most likely impress the judges the most :D

okay well my hair is VERY dry and frizzy. the thing is my sister and ALL my cousins have nice thin straight hair. i just got my hair cut layered and sorta bangs. my hair isnt really really frizzy it`s just a little. so do you have any ideas what i can do with it to make it look pretty w/out doing too much work?

take this from an expert.
when you said you had frizzy & dry hair.
I looked up at mine & said 'join the club'
[it might not seem like it in my pictures but i do have frizzy hair. in my main picture my hair is straighten]
Although I don't have dry hair. My problem is just that it's poofy. This is what I do with my hair when its REALLY POOFY some days.
1st idea - i part my hair on the left side & put my hair in a pony tail & then put it in a messy bun.
2nd idea - I put my hair straight in a pony tail then a messy bun.
3rd idea - i put it in a pony tail and then put curling moose in the pony tail part [you wanna sprunch it to make it look short :D] and then lots of hair spray [which makes it cute & curling and not so frizzy]

Hey guys, I need color suggestions for eyeliner and eye shadow. I have brown hair and brown eyes, I'm somewhat tan from summer, but that's it. Can someone give me suggestions on what colors would look best and what kinds of make-up brands are of the best quality? Thanks :]

I would strongly suggest using the brand Wet nd Wild.
Most of my costmetics are Wet nd Wild.
I would suggest using black eyeliner! It looks really pretty with brown eyes!

Also for eye shadow you want to use natural colors. Like white or light brown. I also use glitter. If you decide you want to use it, its called duff stuff by hilary duff.

Ohh. Well I do.
Their all over my nose & cheeks.
Don't be self concious about them!
Honeslty, they don't really bother me.
I would suggest buying NYC cover up.
The cover up should be a tone close to your skin color.
You won't get rid of them it will just hid them - a little bit.
Do this:
take the cover up stick and rub it on over your freckles.
Take toliet paper or a tissue and rub it in. Basically, make it blend with your skin tone.

This will also work good with pimples etc.

I actually researched this question.
It depends what frame you have.
This is also conducted for people between the ages of 25-59.
[if you are younger than 25, ill provide you with a different pieec of advice then (just let me know)]
If you have a small frame, you should weigh between 104-115.
If you have a medium frame, you should weigh between 113-126.
If you have a large frame, you should weigh between 122-137.

If you are not between the ranges or think your too fat, your NOT! Don't say that!
