before me and my boyfriend started going out he asked my friend out and she said no. then he asked me out and i said yes. then my friend told me that she saw on of my boyfriends friends and he said that my boyfriend liked her. my friend told me this then said i'm pretty sure he likes you more. i think he does but for some reason i'm scared. he always tells me he loves me but i dont know if its true. i'm scared of losing him. well it usually is true when they say nothing last forever so dont expect him to be with you forever......if he asked out another girl before you then yeah probably likes her more but then again you cant believe everything you hear cause it will only make things harder between you two cause it will cause you to not trust him

I am a 21 year old female with a 10 month old daughter. Her father and I broke up for a period of 3 months, and during that time, both him and I have been with other sexual partners. As ashamed as I am, I had unprotected sex for just a few minutes(I know time doesn't matter) and he also did. I'm not sure of exactly what he did, because I do not want to know for emotional reasons, however, do need to know for health reasons. I do know he slept with someone unprotected. I got tested for STD's 2 and a half months after these incidents occurred and me and him were sleeping together again. I tested positive for Chlamydia and took antibiotics immediately to cure it. HIV came up negative but it was only at 2 and a half months testing. I've read alot about HIV and usually, as I read, conclusive results will come back by 10 weeks( exactly 2 and a half months ). They reccommend waiting until 3 months and then again at 6 to be sure. I read it is very rare to get a negative at 3 months and positive at 6 but it does happen to a small percentage of people. I just got tested today for it again, which will be my 3 month mark. I suffer from anxiety attacks as it is and am extremely worried about the results. I know I already tested at 2 and a half months and I read all different things(some say 6-10 weeks, some say as early as 2 weeks, some say 3 months) ...everyones body is different so at different times it will read the antibodies in the test. However, I cannot relax about this. I know alot of people worry about it after testing, but I am extremely worried. It is all I think about and I will know the results Friday but I'm really really scared I have it. We have had risky sex with other people these past few months now knowing their sexual status. I have already beat myself up over this many times and definately learned my lesson, but I can't shake this worry. I am distant from my boyfriend and am so scared if I have it, it will ruin my child's life. I may be overthinking this, but I am terrified for Friday and the doctor saying I am HIV positive. HIV is more common than society thinks, however, it is still a rare disease. I guess my question is, do you have any advice on how I can relax and ensure myself that I do not have HIV since it already came up neg after 2 and a half months? (link)

I like this guy and we "talked" for a week over the summer. But, then we quit because he got busy, etc. Anyways, he would flirt with me this year a lot and then i found out he got a girlfriend over the weekend so i was sad but i realized people move on. I just started college about a week ago. I live about 20 minutes away from campus, and sometimes it takes longer to get there with traffic. So it gets a little tough driving to and from everyday.
Anyway, next summer my best friend's mom is getting married, and hence, moving in with her husband. My BFF doesn't want to move in with them, because we will be sophomores in college and 19. So, we've been talking about getting our own apartment closer to campus/our downtown area. It would be her and our other best friend. (We live in a city just barely big enough to be classified as a city. It's about 55-60,000 I believe, and the university is in a pretty decent part of town).
It seems like a win-win situation. I'd still be close to home for things like meals and laundry to save some money. The hardest part would be teling my parents, because we're a pretty close family and I don't want them to be offended or anything like that. I really just can't think of any downfalls to getting an apartment. We're responsible girls, and we're not into the party scene, so that's definitely not our motive. Could anyone share some experiences or advice about moving out for the first time? Thanks. (link)

i think that it would be alright if you told your parents that you wanted to experience the adult mature world by moving out(face the fact that this would happen someday unless you lived with them forever). and that getting an apartment of your own would help you learn responsibility and how to manage your own bills and school and everything else that comes with learning to be your own adult

no its not the layer of fat you have on top of your abs isnt going to go anywhere unless you work it off and by doing crunches your doing just that so no its not true

my period had these kind of mucus-y chunks in it, kind of like really dark red snot. there wasn't a lot of it though, just a little. why did that happen? is this something i should be concerned about? (link)

i think you should only be concerned if it has funny smell or if it hurts you when you discharge the chunks....but other than that i think your little chuncks are just body tissue and that is fairly normal so no i wouldnt be worried if it doesnt smell or hurt (sting) you its probably just tissue

yes you can get herpies by simply kissing someone or by sharing their drink even if they dont have a break out and if you are getting sores you can use this chapstick called carmex or blistex and your sores should go away within a few days.... whatever you do dont scratch it cause then it will spread and will be twice as hard to get rid of it if it itches place something cold on it and it should stop the itching you can also ask your doctor for a perscription to calm the infection sores

For the past month or so, my best friend has been at soccer camp. There, she met a boyfriend, and from what I understand, they hang out together all day long.
I've been talking to her recently, and I noticed a change for the worse. Her new attitude towards life is "EFF it all".
School is starting soon, so I asked the typical "What are you going to wear for the first day?"
And her response was "I don't really give a crap. It doesn't matter. I'm just going to school to get good grades and do well in soccer".
That has basically been her response to any subject I have raised whether it be school, the people there, life. I commend her for being so determined, I guess, but I think she has a really bad attitude. And I want to talk about silly girl things, or where we want to go in life without getting a harsh "I don't give a crap." or the underlying belief
"I'm going to make the state soccer team, I don't care about other stupid teenagers. Just me and my boyfriend. No one understands me" etc. etc.
It is possible this could change when we actually get back to school since she her boyfriend lives across the country, and while she'll still play soccer, it's not 24/7.
What do I do? What can I do? (link)

you can talk to her about the way you have seen her change and if she doesnt respect your feelings toward her then maybe you should just let it go and move on and let her hit rock bottom to realize what she is doing

herpies is a break out in your skin its like a itchy rash that bleeds and spreads when you scratch it and hiv is like when your body completley shuts down it can often feel like a simple cold at first and then the symptoms get rapidly worst

I have been rehearsing with 40+ other people for 4 weeks, and most of the people I will say hello in passing, but when it comes to holding a conversation, I don't.
I have always been terribly shy. I really feel I would like to speak to 1-2 of the people I perform with, and maybe tell them of my problem. I feel bad that I haven't been talking to them.
I need to know how to ask for help from them. I thought maybe I would tell them I originally got into theater to help with my shyness. I would like to get together with 1-2 of them on an individual basis and apologize and ask for their help, to see if they would.
What do you think??? The show will end in 6 days, and I would like to make friends before this time.

Hello, I am having the following dilemma...
I used to have a very abundant period full of cramps, I went to the doctor and he gave me the birth control pill, the 21 day one, but he firstly asked if I ever had sex, and I said no, so he said he would give me a "weaker" pill, however, I have a boyfriend and I think I'm about to lose it :P, I am very afraid that I can get pregnant just with the condom protecting us, so my question would be, can this 21 day pill be effective enough to prevent me from getting pregnant, if there's any problem with the condom?

My boyfrined and i have been dating for a year come september 5th. Hes 17 and i will be 17 in a few weeks. i love him to death, and i want to get him something for our year, but i have no clue what to get him.
ive made him a scrapbook alread, and a dvd of pictures of us earlyer in the year. he dosnt wear watches, my friends have told me to do that but he wouldnt wear it.
the gift also cant be alot of money because i dont have a job and my mom probably wont give me to much money. i was thinking around 50$ or less.
I think he is getting me something pretty nice, like a diamond ring.. so i cant just get him nothing.

I have spoken to me and has told me i am his world and reason for breathing. I told him that i just need him to text or call me every now and then, so i feel thought about not just a mom or girlfriend. Yes we gone thru very difficult time i had big operations and it has destroyed my life. i can't work as i firefighter anymore and i lost my confidence andsense of who i am and he feels awful that he can't help me and is upset that he can't help me. Things have changed for him too he got promoted and is under more stress but he manages to havehis time yet i dont and guess resent it a bit but i just wanthim to be romantic again! thats what alot of stess does to a person it drains him from feeling the want to be romantic so just give him time to get settled into his new job and give him time to adjust to the fact he cant help you its alt for him to go through so just give him time and he will come around

it can be your hormones trying to tell you something or it could be worse like your pregnant or you have diabetes or something you definetly need to get to a doctor before its to late to help you or it gets worse

first off dont grab her face and try not to slobber on her (its so annoying when guys do that it feels like theyre trying to swallow your face)then try not to be pushy about where you put your hands and its usually a good thing if you start off with a soft kiss and the more you do it the more you will learn about what she likes and every girl likes to do her own kinda thing so she may be different from your next girlfriend
