Q: Tomorrow I'm dying my hair for the first time. I am soooo nervous because everybody knows me as the girl who has the pretty, long, hair. I felt I had to do a major change in my life so this is what I chose. I'm cutting my hair way shorter and then going to like a local drug store, and buying dye and then I'm coming home and dying it! I want to know if this is a good decision or not. Like half my friends are like go for it! and then the other half are like... please don't do it! I personally felt I needed to do this for myself. I want to go for a natural look and stick to the similar color but I want people to be able to notice I dyed it and it's a BIG change. Is this right, or should I not do it? By the way I'm 14/f.
If your doing it for you, completely you, then go for it. Don't do it for anyone but you. Just remember that you can't go back. I've dyed my hair at least a half a dozen times. Just remember to condition and care for your hair really well. Dyed hair is so much more fragile.

Q: i want to be ready for school this year. i'm going to 8th grade, and i want it to be the best year, since it is the last year of middle school.
so what are science && social studies fair topics i can use for school? i want to get it ready so that i won't have to worry about it when it's brought up. i also need writing topics so that i can start on a short story i'm going to enter in a writing contest later in this year.

thank you in advance.
As far as the Science and Social Studies Fair, I always did social studies. Try something you love or something you don't know that much about. One year a did a huge project on the U.S. I know that sounds over done, but I got an awesome grade on it and it still helps me remember stuff for classes now. If you want to play it safe, pick something you know lots about. Make it creative and show what you know. But trust me, doing a project on something you don't know much about is better. You will put more effect into your project if you know that your knowledge on the the topic is limited. Try foreign countries, economic problems, or world issues. (If you decide on a foreign country try Macedonia) About your short story, try basing it loosely on an event in your life. It will make it easier to begin.

Q: i want to get a puppy who gets along well with people and other dogs because i have an older dog, too. i want it to maybe be a small dog and one that won't be outragously expensive because i am 14 and i would probably have to pay myself. any ideas on a type i could look into buying? thanks!
You could try an animal shelter, but you can't guarantee that the puppy will be a small dog. My brother adopted what was supposed to be small and it turned out huge. If you want a small dog and can afford around $100 try a lhasa apso. They are small and good natured.

Q: um. this may sound strainge, but i am trying to raise a baby mouse that i saved from being fed to my freidns lizzard. as soon as i saw it i fell in love. i'm not sure how to raise it though so, if you could give me adivice? thanks so much!
I suggest you go to a pet store and ask. I know that sounds strange, but they sell mice. Selling mice means they also raise baby mice. They could give you advice.

Q: The main chorus is ::

" do you feel like a man when you push her around do you feel better now as she falls to the ground well i`ll tell you my friend one day this worlds going to end as your lies crumble down a new life she has found

Q: what is dyslexia? my bro says he had it in like 1st grade or whatever and he had a hard time in school with spelling and whatnot but now can read better. isnt dyslexia when the letters in words get switched around?
Your right. Its when letters in words get mixed up. Most people with dyslexia do not outgrow it, but it can get better. Your brother may have outgrown it or not had it at all. Some kids just have trouble reading in elementary school and outgrow it.

Q: ok... i have like really bad acne and i need to know what products would help that. do you know any really good products? 13/f
Try something gentle put effective. I have acne too. I use 'St. Ives Apricot Scrub for Acne Prone or Oily Skin'. (http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y294/mvinlover/Extra/ff_1.jpg) I use that daily and use a mask from Clean and Clear once a week thats made for my oily skin. They make masks for all types of skin and you just need to find the one for you.

Q: how do i defend my love for south park? it has important messages and you need to look deeper into the plot
You don't need to defend your love for South Park. People should accept that you love it. But if you really want to defend tell them just what you said in your question. You love it because "it has important messages". Explain to them that you see the message and love it for that.
