ok so i cant stand hair people. they always never do what i am told like they always say i have gorgeous hair and if i ask them to cut it they cut about half an inch off and htey never want to color my hair. but i want to. so if my mom dyes my hair what can go wrong? like if i get the color dye i want and just have my mom do it for me how can it go wrong? like people say have a professional do it. but what could go wrong if my mom does it. and she dyes her own hair anyways so she knows how to i guess
You have virgin hair (meaning it's never been dyed), heres a tip, DON'T LET YOUR MOTHER TOUCH YOUR HAIR! Virgin hair is harder to colour so the colour won't develop the same as if a pro did it. Everything can go wrong, they colour can be too light or too dark, it can be uneven, and it may not even colour at all. You may keep it in too long and have your head burn and an ugly colour or not keep it in long enough and your colour won't product.
I suggest you just go to the salon and get it done. They cannot deny you a hair procedure just because they like your hair. Make sure you go to someone who is really good at mixing colours and knows how to produce shades properly.

Before you shave, wash your legs with some expoliater or just scrub with a rough lufa, it will prep your legs for the shave.
If you don't shave your legs often then the reason you get them is because the skin isn't use to it, the more you shave the less razor burn you'll get.
Shave slowly, don't be in a rush or you will get razor burn.
Another reason you can get it is because you have sensitive skin, try using a skin soother afterwards. Or soothing moisturizer.

I would change the 'black soffees' which i think are ?shorts? with a pair of jeans, i recommend skinny jeans if you have the, because with a frilly top it always looks cute.

Yes you can. Something like neosporin or hydrogen poroxide. Take a glove/mittin/sock and put it over the paw so he won't chew it.
This is probably one of two things... it is either a Hot Spot which you can search about on the internet or if your dog has been to the park/beach latley, a fox tail (which is a pointy leaf from a certain type of plant) could have gotten under the skin. Both are very common and very treatable. I suggest you go to the vet and have him check it out.
(you may know fox tails as the little arrow type leaves that you can throw at someone and it would stick to their clothing

well im 16 and i really want a dog, a small one like a scotty dog or something like that. we've never had one, i live with my mom and my 13 year old sister. it would be alone during the day cause of like work and school but im assuming thats normal. it could sleep in my room, and i know it's a big responsibility. i walk anyways so i can take it with me, and i can feed it and i already know how to clean up after it. my moms just worried about it being alone. i want one so bad, what are some ways i could convince her? and does anyone have any advice for first time dog owners?
To be honest, if nobody is going to be at home alone with the dog then I suggest you don't one. Whether it is a new puppy (which you CANNOT leave alone AT ALL.) or a grown dog which isn't used to it's environment. It is only normal for a grown dog to be alone, one which has lived in the house for a while, and only for up to 6 hours because it needs feeding and walking.
As for tips: You may say right now that you will feed and walk it but a dog is a huge commitment. You need to buy the right food (and not the cheap, buy at the food store stuff. I mean the kind you buy at pet food express.) and the dog needs not only walking but to be taken to the dog park. It needs to socialize with the other dogs and if you ever plan on taking him places with other animals around you will need to vaccinate him that means, fleas & ticks, rabies, distemper, parainfluenza, i don't know all the necessary ones but there are a lot. Then there is the whole potty training which with smaller dogs can takes up to 4 months.
Having a dog really does take a lot out of your life, for instance vacations. You may want to take a vacation but what will you do with your dog? There are dog sitters who take care of your dog while you're gone but I would only trust the ones who you know personally and boarding up your dog is never a good decision because they are in a cage for most of the day. So I suggest you find a family friend/relative who would hypathetically be willing to take care of a dog.
There is so much about dogs that people don't realize, it's almost a second job. I don't live with my parents currently, I'm 19, but we had 5 dogs and 3 cats. Living on my own I have only a cat because he can be left alone all day because cats do not need to be socially with people as dogs.
so i need some help. i really want to be able to curl my own hair. i have a like bigger curling iron and a regular sized one. i try to curl my hair with them and all it does is make a bump, so how do you do it?

First off you have to straighten your hair if it is not already straight. Because to product this look you are only curlying sections.
(i recommend that before your heat you put in a pre-heat serum into your hair so it's more protected. redken makes a good one.)
1. straigten.
2. grap an inch of hair and brush it out.
3. spray in some extraholding hair spray to the inch of hair that was brushed out.
4. take your smaller barrel curler 2 inches from your root down wrap your hair around the barrel.
5. hold for about 5 seconds. and when it's done spray the hair again with hair spray.
repeate for as many curls as you want.

I'm not quite short how far you are willing to go but I'm just going to put up some wacky things that you may like. And by the way, with light eyes darker hair colors make you look wayyy more pretty. I'm a blonde with brown eyes- why couldn't they be blue! I would be dying my hair dark in an instant. These are semi normal cuts- the colors can be whatever you want them to be.

Loosing weight is 70% diet. If you can't eat healthy and in moderation nothing will happen.
But you want leg workouts so here is what I suggest. Tredmill really gets your legs into shape. And you don't have to run the entire time. Put it on an incline and do some medium pase walking for 5 minutes, then speed up the tredmill into a run which is comfurtable for you and run for about 2 minutes, then slow it down to s brisk walk for 2 minutes, and go back to running for 2 minutes. Do this for about 20 minutes. Then slow the tredmill down to super slow speed do some walking lunges facing front and facing the side (10 lunges on each leg facing front and to the side. make sure your toes don't go over your knees.) I also recommend the elipticle and the bicycle. If your gym offers a Cycle class take it, it is the best cardio workout and will tone your legs.
Do inner outer thigh muscle workouts to help strengthen the muscle. (you can message me about those if you don't know any)

Yes 15-20 pounds is a lot of work. There are many diets which compliment that type of weight loss, however, those diets are difficult and you will usually gain a little back depending on how you eat afterwords. To put it simply, you will have to alter your eating habbits for a long time.
These are two diets which I always use (one or the other) before I go on vacation haha. I don't need to loose but I just do it so I can eat whatever I want when I'm on vacation. The South Beach Diet or The Atkins. They do work, they re difficult especially The Atkins because it eliminates carbs pretty much, completley. They both have websites if you want to check them out. I lost 15 pounds in about 1.5 for both diets when I was on them. It sounds extrememly unheatlhy but it is not: an average weight loss is 2 pounds a week, 4 weeks in a month, that makes 8 pounds a month and for two months that 16 pounds.
Outdoor activited that really work is running, surfing, power walking, bicycling, kayacking, rock climbing (the fake kind like rock walls. if you have an indoor rock wall place do it, it really works your muscles.) I would also suggest kickboxing, normal tredmille/elipticle workouts, pilates (you can buy a workout DVD for that), bikrahm yoga (if you're a beginner, take a beginner class. bikrahm is in a heated up room almost up to 100 degrees so you sweat a lot which is good.)
I am 14/f/ and i am so sick of my body. I look like a guy. i mean i have boobs.but i am really athletic looking. The other day i looked in the full length mirror wearing a tanktop and shorts. I couldn't see my head in the mirror. I just flexed both my arms and i was like "omg i look like a guy".

I'm taking my SATS for the second time in October. I have the College Board SAT book, the one that's huge & blue. What other books would you suggest buying that helped you with the SATS?? I also bought Barron's math book, but it's really difficult to understand. What books helped you the most??

I would highly recommend the GuideParadise their guide along with the Princeton Review. I studied both of those books religiously and was able to improve my score more than 300 pts. The main key to doing well on the SAT is practice. The more you practice, the better you will ultimately do. Another key is having the right SAT review guide. Therefore, I suggest you buy the GuideParadise (you can buy it on http://www.tutorfox.com/satguide.html) SAT guide and the Princeton Review SAT review book (i got it at the library) to aid your studying.
im trying out for the girls' feshman cross country team in august. ive been running/walking about 3 miles every day(skip a day every now and then), so is that enough to prepare me so that i will probably make the team?
An average cross-country race is 5kilometers which is a tiny bit more than three miles. (5k=3.1 miles)
I did volleyball and soccer back in highschool and to ensure endurace on off season I did cross-country. The lead athlete on my team ran 10k at the gym 3 days a week!! Anyways, running crosscountry isn't just about how much you run but how much endurance you have, you can't stop running. Try working on your endurance as well.

Only the phone company you are registered with can and only upon request unless there is a pressing matter like someones threatening you, or police matters. However, there are cellphone hackers (paris hiltons phone as an example but she is a celebrity so i don't think someone major hacker would go into your cell phone)
Yes, the company can check who the reciever was, and if you mean can they see who you called during your free night time minutes- yes. If whatever information that was on your cellphone (pictures, phone numbers, conversations) you probably won't be able to delete because you'd have to be someone who maintences the website to edit things.

i dyed my hair yesterday and it came out too dark. its really dark brown, almost black. it's ok, just not what i was looking for. are there any ways i can lighten it? if i bought another thing of dye, i'd probably have to pay for it again, & i'm broke. plus my mom would have to do it and she's never dyed hair before so i'm sure she'd mess it up. i don't wanna go to a salon because it's so expensivee, & my mom won't pay. is there anything i can do to make it a little lighter??

Unfortunetly, one standard rule in hair colouring is if your hair is virgin (to colouring) then you must get it done at the salon first.
This may or may not be your first time, however, I would just wait for it to fade. I recommend using regular shampoo's (not the kind for colour treated hair) because they will help the fading process. Infact, Dawn diswashing liquid helps to lighten your haircolour. Don't use it everyday though!
By the way.. redying your hair with a lighter colour doesn't always work. The chemicals in lighter colours to the darker colours are most of the time less dominant. Therefore the colour doesn't always show.

school starts a few days before labor day weekend.
i pretty much blew it ALL summer by eating junk food.
i feel like crap about it because now i can't even loose enough weight in that amount of time.
what i was thinking, was the slmifast diet to go on until i loose the weight i want. THEN go back to eating low-cal and working out.
i'm 5'4, 143lbs. i want to weigh 130. and be able to fit into a size 7. i can barely fit into size 9 now.
i'm not sure what your question is. i'm not familiar with slimfast but i know there are many pro's and con's with a diet that has premade food.
Pro-- you can never go wrong with thinking whether the food is dietly correct for you. If you continue eating the food and nothing but the food that is slimfast you should loose weight.
Con-- Eating out is difficult- if impossible. Pre-made frozen food is usually disgusting. Eating the same food for a month is extremely hard. Some diets like slimfast which have shakes and frozen meals that you can buy at the food store tend to not have all of the vitamins your body actually need and if eaten for too long, the body will get sick.
If you plan on doing the slimfast, I recommend that you take a daily vitamin, just to be safe. I recommend Centrum, it has all the daily vitamins needed.
A recommended steady weightloss is about 2 pounds a week. There are 4 full weeks in August, therefore if you loose 2 pounds a week in August you should loose 8 pounds. However, most people who are just starting a strict diet can loose up to 5lbs. a week because their body isn't use to the change and the fat burns off faster.
I think that with the diet and atleast 30 minutes of cardio 3 times a week, and muscluar workouts over the duration of a month, I think you will be able to fit a size 7.
My freshman orientation is coming up next month, and I just moved to a new town so I don't , so I'm not sure what to wear. I pretty much shop at Hollister, American Eagle, those kind of places.

I'm in San Diego on vacation for two weeks. I've been planning on getting my cartilage pierced while I'm here. I've also almost managed to talk my mom into letting me get a little stud in my nose. Here's my question:
Will anyplace let me get both piercings at the same time? If not, how long would I have to wait to get the other one? If it's more than a week, is there a way to get around the rule, like going to two different places to do it? Is there any way they would know that I had one piercing done not too long ago?

Yes you can get two piercings done at the same time so it shouldn't be an issue. If it is then just go one day to one salon and another day to another! They'll never know.
I have so many holes on my body, I've lost track but I don't wear all of them.. they're just fun to have the option haha. Anyways, a nose piercing is a little bit for painful then a cartilage (not to say that the cartilage is painful it's just like an irritating sensation.) It itched a lot so if yours itches, don't scratch it! You can change the ring after 3 months so i'm guessing thats how long it takes to heal.
The only problem is the aftercare.. like cleaning it. Because you have to wash it with the special soap on the inside and outside of your nostril. yours is most likley going to be provon, if not then just ask what soaps they recommend. they usually sell them there. You also have to do the salt water soak which they will tell you about there. If they don't, then send a private question to me.

I a Tragus and a Diath. I also have lobes and nip**** and let me say that the Diath is THE MOST PAINFULL one of all of them. However, it's my favorite one:)
The tragus feels a lot like the cartilage but then again i am EXTREMELY good with pain.
The diath is quite painfull when they put it in but then the afterpain isn't too bad. However, the after-care of it like cleaning and doing the salt water soak is a major pain because it's in such a awkward spot.
I would suggest you get a Tragus or Diath.
***edit: i clean all my piercings with this medicated soap called 'Provon' which a lot of piercing salons sells. If your piercers don't sell it then just ask what type of soap they recommend. (I don't recommend you use Dial). But what I find helps the MOST with piercins is the salt water solution and this you should do atleast everyother day along with washing it. With a piercing like a Diath it's quite complicated but you should get a cup with a large enough opening for you to stick your entire ear in. Fill it half way with luke warm water and approx. 2 tbls of sea salt. Tilt your head so the solution is like in your ear but not spilling on you. Do this for about 5 minutes. Then just rinse your ear. ****
The only thing i wear for make-up is mascara. I dont know why i just never really use anything else. What could be some make-up i could use that would look good?

One of my jobs is at the M.A.C Cosmetics store so if the advice I give you isn't clear enough or you need help with how to apply things properly or anything you can ask me on a private question.
One look I can recommend for you is a simple made-up day time look. A thin line of eyeliner on your top lid from the corner of your eye to the outer eye. Layer some mascara on your top lashes. Put some bronze blush on your cheeck bones AND lightly forehead.
For a more evening look I think a smokey eye will look very nice. Layer mascara on your upper and lower lid. Use a bronze blush on your cheeks and forehead and a clear glossy lip.
