Ok, I'm involved in a lot of extra curricular activities both in and out of school. So many activities appeal to me and I just keep joining things. They're things which I really really enjoy but that you have to make a commitment to, such as a once a week 4 hour orchestra rehearsal, jazz choir, daily cross country practice (which is over now), other clubs here and there, and soon mock trial. On top of that, I have all my schoolwork. Now, I don't mind being busy but what I'd like would be to stick to only a couple of big things and be really good at them. In other words, I want to start making priorities. But the thing is, I can't. I can't decide on what to focus on and what's the best route to take. One dilemma I'm having right now is with mock trial. I want to be a lawyer in the club and last year I didn't really have any parts. But the thing is, there's no 100% guarantee that I will be really good at it. And this is where the other thing comes in: I kind of want to be in the school musical but there's no 100% guarantee that I'll get a good part for that and also, it meets every single day which may be too busy for me. I've always dreamed though, of having a lead role in one of the school plays/musicals and MAYBE if I train hard enough now, that dream will come true some time in the next 2 years. There's no guarantees for anything. If I stick to mock trial I may regret not doing drama, but if I do drama, I might regret not doing mock, which I may be capable of being really good at too. And there millions of other things I want to do as well. I don't know what I have true talent in, though. My mind is all over the place. I don't know what to do with my life!!!

well, if you wanna be a lawyer, choose mock trial over drama. it doesnt matter if you get a good part, it'll be good experience, especially if you wanna be a lawyer. choose things that either you're good at, or will help you a lot in the future. whichever you choose, just remember there's always next year where you can switch off.

tattoos hurt more on bone-y parts of your body then on fleshy parts. on fleshy parts, theres more fat, which makes it less painful.
you can try getting your ears pierced again and the thing is, you have to clean them THREE times a day, once is too little.

as far as i know, the only way to get rid of a calick is by shaving that area of your hair, and sometimes, that doesn't even work. other than that, i don't think there is a way. you could try to use hairspray or something to even your hair out.

you can try asking for the birth control that gives you shorter and less periods. tell your mom that getting your period all the time along wtih school and everything else is stressing you out, so you want the kind that makes you get only like four periods a year or something like that. i don't know if it'll work, but it just might.

well, i didn't have to take a pee test for my physical, but it might vary from physician to physician, although i'm 90% sure you don't have to take a pee test. weed stays in your system for about a month, as for alcohol, it depends, but it usually leaves the body within 24 hours.

Q: About a month or so ago my boyfriend broke up with me. We were together for about 9-10 months. It was the most amazing relationship. We didnt fight. We got along perfectly and it really was true blue honest love. We were only 16 but it wasnt just typical high school stuff at all. Does this mean he still has alot of feelings for me and he's just confused cause hes going through something right now?

obviously, he still has feelings for you, but i don't think he should make you wait for him to clear his mind. you two should both try dating other people, and if you come back to each other, then you know its meant to be. its like that saying "if you love something, let it go, if it comes back, its yours, always and forever". thats what you two need to figure out, if it really is love, or if once you start dating other people, you realize its just infatuation. talk this out with him, but make sure he knows you still care. you two just need to figure out what you really want, and the best way to do that is to change things. if you change things up a bit, but once everythings changed, you realize you loved everything the way it was, thats how you know that the way it was is exactly what you want.

So I'm thinking a hair straightener.. What else? Do you know of any good hair products?

it all depends on how much money you have to spend.
sounds like a good thing you can do for him is take him to the salon and get his hair chemically relaxed (permanently straightened). of course it's not permanent for life, but it lasts a really long time.
you can also put together a nice little gift basket type thing with like bubble bath, bath salts, bath gels, candles, hair care products (like a straightener), cd's, and band shirts.

I apologize in advance for the length, and thanks for reading.
Okay so i have known my friend Anna for maybe 4 years. We got really close the last 2, because we only saw each other once a week at dance classes. I recently moved, and now we go to the same school. PRIOR to me moving, I would go up to her school for different events (talent shows...plays, etc.) So i got to know all of her friends (who are now my friends, seeing as we all go to the same school.) and her boyfriend, jake. As soon as i saw him, i fell in love, okay not really in love, that takes time. But he was really sweet and funny and hes so cute. ANYWAY. The first time me and jake had met was about a yearish ago. Since then, we talked online almost everyday, and we had seen each other a few more times. Then, i had gone up to her school for a day to get to know everyone, and sort of take a tour and get the feel of everything. Anna and jake had a bunch of classes together, and i was tagging along with anna all day. Jake kept smiling at me and looking at me, and it was kinda weird because he was still dating anna at the time. They broke up a few weeks later, but not because of me. Anyway, a few weeks ago, i was talking to jake and he told my he loved me and thought i was really pretty. i was thrown off, because im not the girl who every guy is drooling over, and it kind of shocked me. So i told my friend from my old school, we'll call her mary, who doesnt know anna, but sort of knows jake, and mary asks me if i like jake. i told her the truth, i did. so she goes and tells jake, because she thinks shes doing a good thing, i was a little pissed at first, but i got over it. so after mary tells jake that i like him, jake confronts me about it. his words were something like well i like you and you like me woo. but he doesnt want a gf now, and i dont really want a bf now either.
im not sure what my questions is. i guess its what should i do? how should i act around jake (btw, anna and her friends DONT know i like him. and me and jake dont really talk in school, but when he walks my me in the hallway he'll tap my shoulder and walk away) would it be really bad for me to want to be with my friends ex? ahh

it's not bad to want to be with your friend's ex as long as shes over him. find out if she still likes him and stuff, or if shes over him already. since you both don't want a serious relationship right now, just keep being friends. only, maybe a little friendlier. that is, as long as anna is okay with it. the first thing you need to do is to explain to her that you like him now cos you guys have been talking. just don't tell her you've liked him since you met him, that'll be weird. it's better for her to find out from you than from someone else, right ? so talk to her first, and go from there.
