i kinda need a second opinion..
About a month or so ago my boyfriend broke up with me. We were together for about 9-10 months. It was the most amazing relationship. We didnt fight. We got along perfectly and it really was true blue honest love. We were only 16 but it wasnt just typical high school stuff at all. I know its kinda hard to understand unless you've felt that feeling.
He said he couldnt be with me anymore cause he was going through alot right now in his life, which i knew he was. He said he didnt want to be a bad boyfriend to me cause i didnt deserve that at all.
The other day i decided to talk to him and clear things up cause we really havent talked everything through fully and i asked him what his feelings were about me and he said sometimes they're there and sometimes they're not. Then we talked alittle more and i said you should go out and see if you have feelings with other girls and he said that hes confused and that if he saw me with another guy it would hurt him so much and he would be upset and mad. Does this mean he still has alot of feelings for me and he's just confused cause hes going through something right now?
I'm really confused and really hurt cause he was the type of boy i can see myself with in the long run. even if we broke up in the end we would find eachother and he mentioned that to me already i just need another opinion cause i'm just so hurt and confused.

obviously, he still has feelings for you, but i don't think he should make you wait for him to clear his mind. you two should both try dating other people, and if you come back to each other, then you know its meant to be. its like that saying "if you love something, let it go, if it comes back, its yours, always and forever". thats what you two need to figure out, if it really is love, or if once you start dating other people, you realize its just infatuation. talk this out with him, but make sure he knows you still care. you two just need to figure out what you really want, and the best way to do that is to change things. if you change things up a bit, but once everythings changed, you realize you loved everything the way it was, thats how you know that the way it was is exactly what you want.

its obvious that your boyfriend still loves you. if he didn't, he would say 'well, we're through' and leave you alone and not talk to you. your boyfriend probably IS going through some tough times in his life. give him some time to sort through his problems, ask him how he's doing, but don't be clingy. give him his space. i'm sure everything will work it, because it sounds like he still wants to be with you. :)
